Energy conservation is a lot of different measures, which together should lead to a general decrease in energy consumption from external sources, which is important not only economically, but also environmentally, as the amount of harmful emissions and waste will be reduced. The most effective solution to the problem is achieved by combining various factors - human, technical, organizational.
Each person should know that he is able to contribute to the process of energy saving, at least in that he turns off the currently unnecessary electric device or changes it to a less powerful one. Measures to save energy at home, of course, are not global in nature, each homeowner himself regulates the energy consumption in his premises, but in total these are millions of households that consume a considerable amount of energy. Energy-saving lamps have appeared on the market for a long time, although they are more expensive than ordinary ones, they last several times longer and consume 80% less energy. Here the question is, rather, in the consciousness of citizens. Most people take measures to save on utility bills, and few people think about the problem as a whole.
Unlike the situation in households, energy saving measures at the enterprise are centralized and organizational in nature. Here there is the possibility of control over energy consumption, as well as the introduction of the latest energy-saving technologies. Many organizations pre-audit energy costs in order to identify all possible ways to reduce energy consumption. The most radical method is to change all equipment to more energy-efficient, but this is too long a process, and most importantly, an expensive one that pays for itself for a long time. Consequently, the following organizational measures for energy conservation can lead to lower energy costs (and therefore total costs of the enterprise, which is the main reason for taking these measures):
- reasonable and efficient operation of energy capacities;
- strict observance of labor discipline in the workplace;
- continuous and coordinated interaction of units in the enterprise.
At the end of a certain period of time, a second audit should be conducted to assess how effective the measures taken were, to identify weaknesses, and make the necessary adjustments to the existing program.
As for the budget sphere, in organizations of this type financing of energy-saving measures is made from budgetary funds. For example, energy-saving measures at the school include the complete replacement of all types of lamps (such as T8, incandescent lamps, outdoor lighting), as well as making changes to existing air conditioning and ventilation systems. Full payback is expected in 6-7 years.
In addition to technical transformations, work is being carried out in schools with students aimed at increasing their awareness of saving resources. Classroom hours on energy conservation and other activities are aimed at involving schoolchildren and their parents in a national project on energy conservation. at home.
Energy conservation measures are a national issue, to the solution of which everyone is able to make their own contribution. The future of all mankind is determined by the actions of a single resident of planet Earth.
