Increasingly, faced with allergy symptoms that can occur at any age, people think not about alleviating the clinical picture of the disease, but about completely eliminating the pathology from their lives. Folk remedies for allergies will help in this and significantly ease the state, the high effectiveness of which is not denied even by official medicine.
What is an allergy?
An allergy occurs in a person due to an erroneous recognition by the body of an extraneous protein substance, as a potential hazard to the health of an individual. In this case, harm to health is caused not by the antigen itself, but by the body's immune response to its presence. Individual intolerance can manifest itself immediately, within a few minutes after contact with an allergen or delayed with a reaction.
Formation of an allergic reaction
In most cases, the syndrome has genetic roots, but the type of allergy, as the nature of its manifestation and the allergen itself, is purely individual and independent of hereditary factors. Sometimes intolerance provokes a substance that has been previously used or has come into contact with the body repeatedly and without any consequences, but more often the syndrome accompanies a person from early childhood and already with age there is a dynamics of attenuation of symptoms and self-elimination or worsening of the condition.
It is incorrect to assume that the hormonal period of active growth in children in 30% of cases reduces immune failure to "no." In fact, the complete "overgrowth" of the syndrome occurs much less often, just an allergy takes a different form, which may not be associated with the one that supposedly disappeared.
Allergy Symptoms
Allergy manifests itself so versatilely that it is often mistaken for signs of dangerous pathologies - poisoning, dysentery, infectious diseases. Since the threshold of tolerance for antigens in each person is individual, the same product, adopted under similar conditions by two different people, can cause completely different reactions.
Common symptoms of an incorrect immune response to an antigen:
- rash, flushing of the skin, accompanied by itching;
- runny nose:
- uncontrolled lacrimation;
- swelling;
- nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea;
- headache;
- conjunctivitis;
- dry cough, sneezing;
- fainting, asphyxiation.
It happens that an allergy provokes an exacerbation of any chronic diseases, and then it turns out to be even more difficult to recognize the real reason for the running process.
Soothing baths
Baths with medicinal compounds dissolved in water belong to the symptomatic treatment of allergies with folk remedies at home. The optimal volume of water for taking soothing baths is considered to be 80-90 liters, that is, less than two-thirds of the filling of a standard tank. Based on this amount of water, the concentration of infusions is also calculated.
- A succession and a camomile - mix the dried crushed herbs 1: 1, and 9 tbsp. spoon dry mix brew 2 liters of boiling water. Keep the broth on low heat for another 5 minutes, then insist for an hour, strain and use immediately for a bath.

The temperature of the water for taking therapeutic baths should be comfortable, not higher than 40 ° C, not lower than 28 ° C. The procedure for adults is 20 minutes, for children - 10-15 minutes.
External remedies for skin rashes
With a small coverage of skin irritation or with a local, focal lesion of some parts of the body, apply local compresses, ointments or baths.

It should be borne in mind that with open wounds, ulcers or severe scratching, concentrated folk remedies for allergies, such as pure plant juice, can not be used.
Decoctions and infusions from allergies
The treatment of allergies with folk remedies used orally must necessarily be preceded by an allergotest for the body to take the substances involved in therapy. To do this, just drink a small dose of the prepared infusion and wait an hour. If a negative reaction is not noticed, then this folk remedy for allergies can be included in the tactics of treating pathology.
- Celandine - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of dried substance are poured into 400 ml of hot water, heated to boiling and insisted for 3 hours under a lid. The resulting infusion is divided into 4 doses and drunk 2 days before the main meals, adhering to a two-week course.

Herbal tea and teas
How to cure allergies with folk remedies? It’s difficult to meet ready-made allergy fees in a pharmacy because of the difficulty of putting together several types of hypoallergenic plants. Each element of such a collection safe for one person can be harmful to another, therefore it is recommended to formulate complex compounds individually.
Folk remedies for allergies in multicomponent formulations:
- Take 1 teaspoon of dried herbs: sage, lemon balm, horsetail, viburnum branches, and licorice root and elecampane root - 2 teaspoons. Brew 2 teaspoons of the mixture in a liter thermos for the night, and then drink tea with small coffee cups three times a day for a month.
- Take 2 teaspoons of dried herbs: pharmacy chamomile, peppermint, calendula, and brew everything in a liter thermos. After an hour of infusion, the drug can be taken 70 ml twice a day, in a course of 2 weeks.
- Take 0.5 tbsp. tablespoons: herbs of galangal, powdered laurel, calendula and string, brew all with two glasses of boiling water and leave overnight in a thermos. In the morning, pour a tablespoon of apple or grape vinegar and a teaspoon of buckwheat honey into the strained infusion. Drink tea 50 ml 3-4 r. the day before meals.
Herbal decoctions and infusions are prepared based on a maximum of three days, because after 72 hours the activity of useful elements decreases, and the funds become useless.
Honeycomb Treatment
Medotherapy can be used only in the absence of intolerance in the patient of this odorous natural medicine, which in itself is a common provocateur of pathology. The treatment of allergies with folk remedies with the inclusion of honeycombs in the tactics should occur according to a scheme selected in accordance with the severity of the disease:
- An easy degree of difficulty - three times a week (for example, on odd days), you need to chew and swallow a small amount of bee zabrus. This is best done in the morning after a light breakfast and on this day no longer take home decoctions and infusions against allergies;
- Medium - Zabrus is used more intensively, already three times a day and can be combined with drinking homemade herbal decoctions.
- Severe degree of the disease - preparation should begin 2-3 months before the onset of seasonal allergic provocations. For this, an allergy sufferer should stock up with honey and eat a spoonful of sweets after each meal. A month before the dangerous period, honey therapy is complicated - they dissolve a tablespoon of honeycomb and the same amount of grape (apple) vinegar in 250 ml of warm water, and drink the drug after a light breakfast. In addition, you need to continue to use bee zabrus as often as possible.
Adherents of home treatment argue that honey and wax honeycomb elements, as a folk remedy for allergies in adults and children, serve as a worthy alternative to hormone-based therapy.
Mummy against allergies in children
How to treat allergies with folk remedies if a child has a negative reaction to herbal medicine, and pharmacy drugs give a temporary or unstable improvement? As a non-sedating antihistamine, homeopaths have long used the classic high-purity mummy. Children need to give it with milk - so the mummy is better absorbed and does not leave an unpleasant aftertaste.
The solution is prepared as follows: a 1-gram piece of resin is completely dissolved in a liter jar of warm water, this amount of product is conditionally divided into 10 servings. Preschool children (from 4 years old) are given 70 ml of medicine every morning and evening, primary school children and adult children, the portion is increased to 100 ml, drunk with the same frequency. Immediately after taking the medicine, the child should drink at least half a glass of warm milk (plain or sweetened with honey).
Treatment is carried out with a monthly course, twice a year.
Egg Shell Allergy Treatment
The famous doctor Komarovsky offers to try such a folk remedy for allergies in children:
- 5 domestic chicken eggs with a dense white shell are washed with a brush with a simple soap, and then boiled to a very steep state;
- eggs cooled in cold water are carefully cleaned, and already from the shell, in turn, a white film is removed that needs to be thrown out;
- the shell is dried, decomposed on gauze, during the day, then crushed into powder and sieved so that there are no large pieces left.
The resulting powdery mass is stored in a sealed container and is given to children from 6 months old in a monthly course. From 6 months to a year, you should give an amount of powder equal to 2 match heads, from 1 year to 2 years - double the serving, over 2 years - half a teaspoon. The medicine is given once a day, preferably in the morning.
The use of sorbents
The use of sorbents for allergies is justified by their enveloping effect, in which the protein taken by the body is hostile, as it were, in a viscous environment and is excreted together with other decay products in the shortest possible time. Activated black coal is considered the most universal and safe sorbent, which, moreover, is very convenient to dose: one tablet is taken per ten kilograms of a person’s weight. Children and people with difficulty swallowing tablets can be crushed and given in powder form.
It is supposed to drink coal in the morning and evening for 7 days, then for the next seven - drink 1 tablet every other day, and then take a tablet every 3 days.
Allergy-Free Diet
If the allergy is seasonal in nature, then you need to take care in advance, no later than a month, to exclude foods from the diet that can provoke an exacerbation of symptoms. These are: confectionery sweets, coffee and strong tea, alcoholic beverages, spicy dishes, smoked meats, spices, citruses. It will be possible to gradually introduce them into the diet only when the allergy declines.
The same list of products is banned for other types of allergies at the time of exacerbation.
special instructions
When congestion, coughing and itching occur at the same time, folk remedies for allergies may not be effective and, moreover, they cannot be used all at once. Therefore, if the symptomatology is extensive and most importantly - if it is accompanied by edema and difficulty breathing, home remedies should go by the wayside and act as adjuncts to drug therapy.
It will be necessary to refuse phyto treatment or to coordinate all its aspects with the doctor if the following factors occur:
- pregnancy and lactation;
- gastrointestinal diseases;
- high blood pressure;
- chronic liver and kidney diseases.
Folk remedies for skin allergies can have the opposite effect as expected with atopic dermatitis, some types of eczema and neurodermatitis. For this reason, in addition to conducting an allergotest, you must always have a proven antihistamine on hand to stop acute signs of individual intolerance or worsening.
