History
To develop the design of this motorcycle, an English designer, John Reed, was involved in the work. He took the Yamaha Venture Royale model as the basis and, using the base, created a cruiser of incredible power. Immediately after the release of the first model, he received critical acclaim and the status of Motorcycle of the Year. Despite the fact that sales were not only in Japan, but also abroad, the Yamaha V-Max was released to the market with not too significant modifications of the first model. It was impossible not to notice how quickly the vehicle accelerates, as well as its soft suspension. In 1993, the model was slightly modified - the diameter of the plug, designed to minimize wobbling at high speeds, increased. In addition, they installed brake 4-piston calipers and other modifications that increased handling, making the motorcycle safer.
