The hodgepodge beloved by many is prepared from almost any product, everything that you have in the refrigerator can safely be used. A traditional Russian dish is represented by dozens of recipes, but still remains tasty and healthy. One of the recipes for hodgepodge is a meat option. How to make a hodgepodge with meat ingredients so that it is tasty, each has its own recipe. Here is an example of a recipe for a mixed meat hodgepodge. For its preparation you will need: half a kilogram of beef and chicken breast, four large onions, a couple of carrots, potatoes (3 pcs.), A can of seedless olives, several pieces of pickles, a head of garlic, 100 grams of tomato paste, a bunch of green onions, 150 grams of sunflower oil, butter (50 gr), smoked meats and sausages about 1000 (it is imperative that smoked bacon is present), spices to taste and sour cream.
How to make a hodgepodge at the first stage, so as not to forget anything. First you need to boil beef to get a rich broth, so you should take meat with bone. During cooking, periodically remove the foam. When the meat boils, salt and cook for about 40 minutes.
In parallel with cooking meat, peel all vegetables. Carrots, cucumbers and onions need to be cut into small cubes. Pour a portion of chopped vegetables, and exactly half the onion and a third of the carrots, into the meat pan should be in 20 minutes. Then, after another 20 minutes, add chicken breasts to everything.
Sausages and smoked meats cut into cubes and set aside, smoked lard should be separated from everything else. When the beef and brisket are ready, remove them from the broth and leave to cool. Cut the olives into rings and add the remaining liquid from them to the broth.

Then again we put the broth to boil. After it boils, add meat products to it, as well as diced potatoes. Also pour the second frying into the pan.
The last step of the “how to make a hodgepodge” process is adding olives, chopped green onions and herbs, garlic, and spices. Then cook the hodgepodge on low heat for about 15 minutes.
Before serving, you can add lemon, sour cream and fresh herbs to a plate with hodgepodge.
You can also cook a hodgepodge with cabbage. The recipe is almost the same as for meat hodgepodge, only meat ingredients are replaced by cabbage.
