Steam is better!
We, accustomed to frying (in extreme cases, boiling or stewing), forget that there is such a wonderful culinary approach as steaming. They resort to it reluctantly and exclusively if necessary. Meanwhile, dietary beef steam patties can greatly diversify the table and delight in taste. They are much softer and juicier, easily digested, even if digestion problems are observed, contain a minimum of fats and carcinogens - because there is no frying stage. At the same time, they retain in themselves all the useful qualities inherent in meat. So such a dish will have to go to the court and the kids who have just learned to chew, and the ladies in position, and the elderly, and those who intend to lose a couple of extra pounds. And if necessary, adhere to medical prescriptions, steam cutlets from beef diet are simply irreplaceable.
Simple stuffing
The steam cooking method itself in the main stages is simple. But no one bothers to creatively create the basis for cutlets. But you can start with a primitive, well-known composition. For ordinary minced meat, take a pound of beef; this meat usually includes quite a few films and veins - they need to be removed. Onion is ground together with beef; anyone can add a garlic clove here. A slice of bread (necessarily yesterday, it has less gluten) is freed from the crust and soaked in milk. If you are planning steam beef cutlets diet, give preference to brown bread. Squeezed bread is mixed with minced meat; an egg is driven into the same place. Interesting modification

Cutlets are folded into a “sieve” of a double boiler, water is poured into the container (according to the instructions), and the device turns on in cooking mode. It will take from half an hour to 45 minutes, it depends on the model of the unit.
Fish + meat
If you do not follow a diet, but just love steam food, we suggest you try just unique meatballs, combining both meat and fish notes. Seven hundred grams of beef is chopped as finely as possible. You can, of course, grind, but a certain part of the taste charm will be lost. A spoonful of starch is poured into the minced meat (you need corn), a little salt and pepper. In addition, a spoonful of soy sauce is poured. From this mass a large patty is formed ; the recipe advises doing one, but you can adapt it to your tastes. Small pieces of salted fish are laid out on top. The design is sprinkled with ground ginger and placed in a double boiler. It should work until the beef is ready, about three quarters of an hour. The dish is always eaten hot, and as a side dish, rice will be the most harmonious.
Dietary beef steak in the oven
Suppose you don’t have a double boiler, but you don’t want to build a structure from a pot with a colander. However, this is not a reason to abandon steam cutlets. The oven will quite successfully replace a double boiler.
A pound of beef, washed, dried and freed of films with tendons, is turned by a meat grinder to the state of mincemeat. Two onions and a pair of garlic cloves are rubbed on a fine grater. Lazy people can scroll them along with meat, but they lose their flavor. Two large potatoes are peeled and also rubbed (there is no substitution). All the resulting masses are combined in a deep bowl; minced meat is mixed and salted. If desired, add spices. Cutlets are formed from the mass. Each of them is laid out on a suitable piece of foil and carefully wrapped. It is better to do something like a knot, collecting all the ends of the foil from above: then the juice will not leak out, and the cutlet will languish in its own steam. The bundles are laid out on a baking sheet and hidden in a hot oven until the cutlets are ready.
