Classic Ginger Cinnamon Tea

This recipe will be the perfect drink in the cold season due to its double warming effect.

Ingredients:

  • water - 2 liters;
  • finely grated ginger - 3 tablespoons;
  • sugar - 6 tablespoons;
  • lemon (orange) juice - 4 tablespoons;
  • ground black pepper.

Initially, you need to boil water, add ginger, sugar to it and dissolve with a spoon. Strain the finished tea well, add lemon juice and a little pepper to it. Serve hot.

When preparing it, one should not forget about some nuances.

Firstly, if tea with ginger is prepared as a medicine for treating a cold, then the root water should be boiled with the lid open for at least 10 minutes.

Secondly, if fresh ginger is used for the preparation of the drink, but fresh, then its amount must be increased exactly twice. Boil such tea for at least 20 minutes over low heat.

Tea with Ginger, Cinnamon and Lemon

Ingredients:

  • black or green tea;
  • ginger root (thinly sliced) - 2 teaspoons;
  • cinnamon stick;
  • sugar (honey can be) and lemon to taste.

In a teapot , pour black (green) tea, a cinnamon stick and 2 teaspoons of ginger. Pour boiling water and let it brew for 10 minutes. The finished drink can be poured into cups, lemon and sugar (or honey) can be added to taste.
