It is no secret that more often than not, people are the culprits of fires and it is their carelessness that leads to fire. Fires inflict tremendous material damage, and sometimes take lives. Therefore, the task of every rational person is to protect the world from fire.
The federal law “Technical Regulation on Fire Safety Requirements” is specifically designed to legitimize this obligation, as well as to help ensure its general principles. The purpose of this document is to protect the lives of people, their health and property of different ownership forms.
The main cause of a fire in a house is usually the careless and inept handling of people with fire when cooking, using faulty electrical appliances, repairing or welding, smoking and childish pranks. A fire at the enterprise occurs for more significant reasons. It causes much greater material damage and quite often leads to accidents on a large scale.
The cause of the occurrence and development of fires in production are:
- violation of the requirements and rules of operation of industrial equipment and devices with low fire protection;
- the use in the construction of facilities of materials that do not fully or fully meet the safety requirements;
- the absence at modern enterprises and economic facilities, and even, which is generally unacceptable, in the fire departments of modern, effective means designed to combat fire.
The technical regulation on fire safety requirements points to the main provisions in the field of confrontation with fires, including industrial facilities, and establishes general requirements for the protection of buildings, industrial facilities, various structures. They understand by fire safety such a state of an object that excludes the possibility of a fire occurring on it. If, nevertheless, a fire has occurred, then specific necessary measures are used that will eliminate not only the source of ignition, but also other dangerous factors that negatively affect both the people themselves and the buildings and various material values.
This regulatory document lists the specific requirements for production facilities in the design, construction and construction, as well as for general purpose products and fire fighting equipment. And also in the law “Technical regulation on fire safety” a procedure is established that assesses the conformity of products and objects of protection to these requirements. With the introduction of the law for the owner of the objects of protection, namely buildings and structures, some administrative and technical measures began to be applied. Now it is they who must determine what needs to be done so that at a particular enterprise, organization or other facility, it is safe and there is no fire. This document, containing information about a specific facility on existing fire safety measures on it , assesses the compliance of the level of protection of a particular facility with a regulatory document. According to the Technical Regulations on fire safety requirements, this document can be compiled both independently, by the owner, and with the participation of a specialized organization. It is compiled for almost all industrial, construction, shopping centers, offices, consumer and commercial services. And, of course, applies to children's institutions, health care organizations, sports facilities and other facilities where there is always a large concentration of people.
