Typical standards for the issuance of workwear

Various legislative acts establish the obligation of the employer to purchase and give out free-of-charge overalls to members of his team. Article thirty-seventh of the Constitution of the Russian Federation establishes the right of a person to work in safe conditions that meet hygienic standards. Numerous government decrees and orders issued by the Ministry of Labor establish certain requirements. These regulations are intended for various sectors of the state economy.

Requirements regarding labor protection, which are mandatory for use by any business entity, are defined in the use by the employer of technical means that reduce the impact on the human body of dangerous or harmful factors of production, and also contribute to their prevention.

Typical standards for the issuance of workwear consist of minimum requirements. They help protect workers from exposure to harmful factors. Each of the sectors of the national economy has its own typical industry standards for the issuance of workwear. They are concretized acts for a specific economic field and contain kits that directly depend on the specialty of the workers.

Typical standards for the issuance of workwear also indicate the period of wear or use of the product. Personal protective equipment must be debited in accordance with legislative acts. There is also a requirement for an employer who must provide special clothing care. It should be washed, cleaned and, if necessary, dried.

Standard industry standards for the free issuance of workwear are mandatory for approval by the Ministries of Social Development and Health. There are likely cases when such acts are absent for any sphere of the national economy. Then enterprises have the right to apply intersectoral provisions.

The employer can develop standard standards for the issuance of workwear for their organization. He is entitled to use them only if, in comparison with generally accepted acts, they contribute to the most reliable protection of members of the labor collective from exposure to harmful factors of production on their bodies.

Article two hundred and eleventh, contained in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, legally established the obligation of both individuals and legal entities that carry out any activity to comply with labor protection rules. In this case, the standard standards for the issuance of workwear relate to an extensive list of professions. You can find it in the approved legislative acts.

The single regulatory requirement for all areas of the national economy is the issuance of warm, special clothing and shoes. The differences apply only to climatic zones.

Sometimes, in the presence of certain features in production cycles, the employer may replace one type of protective equipment with another. Moreover, it is required to obtain approval for these actions from the trade union body.

All products intended for personal protection should be issued to the employee in accordance with his size and gender, growth and nature of the job duties, and also meet the requirements regarding labor protection. At the same time, clothes and shoes must have certificates of conformity.

Workers who are given personal protective equipment are required to:

- use them during the labor process;

- show careful attitude to them;

- notify the employer in a timely manner of taking measures to care for her.

If the unsuitability of special equipment occurred before the time of writing off according to the standard, then in this case we can talk about the damage caused to the employer.
