A rather young and not too simple card game "Deberts", the rules of which we will describe in our article, is gaining more and more popularity in Russia. She has several varieties that differ from each other in the allowable number of players. With them, as well as with small tricks and subtleties of the game, we will introduce the reader.

If the game party began with a trump card, then a player with a seven of trump suit is allowed to replace it with another card, but only of the suit, which is a trump card.

And if all the players passed, then in turn, everyone calls any other suit to determine a new trump card. If everyone saved again, then the deck passes into the hands of another person and it starts all over again.
Card combinations
By the way, “Deberts” rules have, although strict, but rather curious. Indeed, in fact, interest in the game quickly disappears if certain laws are not present in it.
Immediately after the trade, a bribe is drawn. Prior to this, any player can safely declare that he has any combination that will help him earn extra points. As everyone knows, a combination is a special combination of cards. And the opponent can easily interrupt this combination of his own, but only on condition that it will be more. As a result, the oldest of them will win, and points will be credited to the player.
In general, there are three main combinations:
- Half a ruble. There are 4 cards of the same suit in a row.
- Terz is 3 cards in a row of the same suit.
- Bella is the trump king and queen.
And besides them, there are other combinations of cards that can also affect a player’s victory.
It should be noted that fifty dollars is larger than any terz. If several players have combinations of the same length, then the one who reads from the larger card wins. The speed in declaring one’s own combination will be appropriate if both players have the same combination of cards.
There are times when several combinations are present at the same time. Here only the oldest of them should be announced, otherwise the announcement will not be accepted. The rest can be announced only if no one else interrupts it.
Raffle
The drawing is also present in the game "Deberts" four. The rules here are standard, and the game itself will be much more interesting if several people take part in it.
Bribes begin to be played out either after the announcement of the combinations, or in their absence. After the opponent of the deliverer, the move proceeds to the one who took the bribe last. A move must necessarily be only one card. It is necessary to respond to the previous player’s turn with a card of the same suit, but in its absence, it is allowed to put any card.
A hanging bide is the same number of finish points for players. Then the opponent records the points for himself, but the player’s accumulated points simply hang and remain until the next game (optional). They can also be added to the player who will succeed in taking the most points in the next change. This greatly simplifies the game for some people, and some have even more interest and desire to win.
If this situation is repeated twice, then the players have two choices:
- Play the sum of all the canoes in the next game.
- To play them alternately - the first canoe in the next game, and the second after it.
In the case of a hanging canoe, the next player to be handed over will be the one who ordered the trump card the previous time.
Glasses
Earning points is also included in the rules of the game in “Deberts”. Basically the game lasts up to 501 points. They are counted exclusively after the game has been completed. It is necessary to read them based on combinations.
Surely, many people know how to play Deberts. The rules of the game are not very complicated, so you can remember them quickly. The main thing is to be able to correctly count the number of points. So, the jack of the trump suit is counted for 20 points only once. In addition, there are points for bribes and for combinations:
- Bribes: Jack of the usual suit - 2 points; lady -3; king - 4; card 10 - 10 points; the most recent trick is 10; Ace - 11; trump card 9 - 14 points; trump jack - 20.
- Combinations: the queen and the king of the trump suit or 3 alternate cards of the same suit - 20; 4 cards in a row of the same suit - 50 points.
Fines
Surprisingly some players in the “Deberts" (the rules are presented to your attention) the presence of fines. But no solid game can just do without various punishments for players. This gives her poignancy and excitement.
So, each player in his own record must comply with the so-called pencil rule. It consists in the fact that the player first writes down the points, then puts the pencil and only then removes the counted cards in the deck.
If the opponent was able to notice the extra attributed points from another player, then after indicating this he has the opportunity to record the difference. These points are deducted from the deceiver. An error of exactly 100 points, of course, will be corrected, but the player will not receive punishment for this.
An extra card, as well as replacing the very first trump with a seven, is a bide. In case of an incorrect (possibly random) announcement of the end of the game, the penalty will be in the form of an instant loss of the game.
Kharkov "Deberts"
The rules of the game in “Deberts” (Kharkov) are known to many people. Not only fans of the game itself, but other card game lovers at least once played it.
Kharkiv has a couple of main differences from the usual Moscow look:
- In the case of two equal combinations, the advantage will be in the card that was announced before, and not in the trump card.
- The tertz of the trump card (only an ace) is by no means the largest tertz of all that could be here.
Game up to 301 points
The rules in the game up to 301 points differ from the rest of the Deberts types by the number of points to be scored - not 501, but 301. Of course, many tried to experiment and achieve other final results, but standard rules were always better. After all, they have long been tested and verified by other card lovers.
Short
As mentioned above, the Deberts game (cards) is divided into several types. The rules of the short version may seem simpler than its previous types.
This option is played in the same way as the Moscow one, but some differences are present:
- Winning goes to the player with a lot of points.
- For two and three players without a canoe - it does not matter which of them ordered the trump suit.
- For two and three players with a canoe - the player who ordered the trump card will lose the doubled bet if it scores fewer points than the rest.
- Any player can offer an opponent to surrender by saying the word dava. But this proposal must be accompanied by a certain amount of points. Two times in a row, one person will not be able to make an offer. Dava will move in turn to the players after the opponent accepts the offer.
- Before the start of the game, it is possible to negotiate an increase in the rate in order to coordinate this between all players. Here you can use not only arithmetic, but also geometric progression.
With fifty dollars
This option is also popular among fans of the game "Deberts". The rules for two players in this variety will not be difficult for anyone, so you can play not only sitting at the table at home, for example, and on a picnic.
The interest and the main feature of this variety is that between the determination of the trump card and the hand of the last three cards, one of the players has the right to offer the second to write down 50 points at once. As a result, the winner will be determined by the greater number of points scored, but the gap between the players should be exactly 250 points.
Threesome
The basic rules of the game in “Deberts” the three of them are not very different from the standard, but there are some nuances:
- The player who ordered this game must score a little more points than the rest. If this could not be done, then whistling players will record the canoe in half, and in the opposite case, each player will record their own points.
- Announcements of points earned must be added, provided that the eldest of them passes. But the playing person will be forced to interrupt their ads, because only in this case he will record his own points.
- With a hanging canoe, points will be played in the same way as in a game together. And after a repeated canoe, all dangling points should be equally distributed among all whistlers.
End of the game
As you can see, in the game "Deberts" the rules are quite interesting and unusual. It ends only when one of the players scored the required number of points. But he must wait until he takes a bribe, while the other player does not have time to make his move. After the most recent trick in the game or in a canoe, the announcement of the scored points will no longer be accepted. And if two or more players reach the desired number of points at the same time, then the title of winner will be given to the last who took the bribe.
These are a bit confusing, but very interesting rules for a popular card game. In the company of two or four people, cards will always find application, and Deberts will not only help pass the time, but also enjoy communicating with friends.
