Orange is a wonderful fruit that contains many healthy substances. It contains vitamins such as ascorbic acid, vitamins A, B1, B2, P. The pulp of this fruit is saturated with mineral compounds: phosphorus, calcium, potassium. And also the orange composition includes pectin, citric acid and volatile. In addition, the usefulness of this fruit increases because the high content of citric acid in it does not allow nitrates and nitrites to accumulate in oranges. Of course, it is best to eat the flesh of an orange with veins. But not everyone likes it. Those who do not like to eat this fruit can make a drink from oranges.
Orange juice
The easiest way to preserve a lot of healthy substances is freshly squeezed orange juice. To prepare such a drinking treat, we need very ripe fruits. Oranges for juice better to take with a bright orange peel. Before squeezing the juice, the fruits must be washed well. Then cut into two halves at the "equator". Squeeze the juice from each half, trying to leave only an empty crust. The pulp particles that remain in the juice are very beneficial. But young children often do not like them. Then you have to strain the resulting mass through a plastic sieve. It is important that the sieve is not made of metal! Since, passing between divisions, the juice is oxidized and loses some of these useful components! You can, of course, strain through gauze, folded in a couple of layers, but it will be too long and inconvenient. Ready juice can be diluted with boiled water in a proportion of not more than 1 part water to 1 part juice. Such a cocktail is relevant for infants, it reduces the allergenic properties of the juice and makes it more βsoftβ in taste. If the juice is consumed with pulp, then two large oranges produce one full glass of juice. If the pulp is removed from the drink, then only a little more than half a glass of liquid can be obtained from the same two fruits.

Orange drink
Sometimes the hostess is faced with the task of preparing a fruit drink for a large number of people. For such cases, we provide a recipe for delicious orange nectar. To make an orange drink in quantity 5 liters, we will need:
- 5 large fruits;
- sugar (about 1-2 glasses);
- lemon (1/2 or a whole large fruit);
- ground cinnamon (on the tip of a knife).
It is desirable that the fruits are very ripe, then the peel, which we will use in the future, will have less bitterness and a greater aroma. My oranges, cut into two parts and squeeze the juice from them. From the remaining peel, we cut off the damaged places and cut it into small pieces. Bring 5 liters of water to a boil. Throw
orange peels into boiling water and add sugar. Cook for about 20 minutes. Let the liquid cool and the crusts - give as much taste as possible to the drink. In the cooled infusion, add the already squeezed orange juice, lemon juice and cinnamon. The last ingredients should be put a little, carefully mixing and constantly tasting the resulting drink from oranges.
It is difficult to specify the exact amount of sugar, and even more so lemon juice and cinnamon. Indeed, depending on the variety and ripeness, the sweetness of the fruit varies greatly. And cinnamon is added to taste. Someone does not like this spice at all, then putting it is not worth it. In order for the final drink of oranges to be ready, it must be filtered. We strongly recommend that you do this through a plastic sieve to preserve the remaining vitamins. To do this, set the sieve in a large pan. Pour the liquid from the container with a brew a little.
