A whole science has been created about the study of the facial expressions of people - physiognomy. Sometimes, she can tell us more than the words that are being pronounced by a person. Facial expression, like a mirror, reflects all hidden thoughts. Much can also be said about a person by the location of the wrinkles on his face and by their intensity.
The position of the head of the individual during the conversation will tell us about his attitude to the conversation and about his personality as a whole. For example, an equal position of the head tells us that a person is confident in himself and is open to communication with the outside world. Proudly raised head allows you to think about arrogance. A head thrown back means an open call. And the little head inclined to the side indicates openness of a person, unwillingness to act on their own and readiness to obey or accept the point of view of the interlocutor.
Facial expressions very diverse. It is easier to judge intentions and mood by analyzing each part of the face separately. Let's start with the mouth. During the conversation, he can say a lot. Tightly pressed lips confirm determination. If they are pressed at the same time to the teeth - this will tell you that at that moment a person experiences a naive vanity. The lips moved forward with raised corners are an expression of protest on the face. A wide open mouth and eyes will speak of great surprise. Licking lips means anticipation of something.
Pay attention to the corners of the interlocutor's lips: if they are omitted and complemented by a sad facial expression, then this will tell you about the person’s painful condition (due to disappointment or unhappiness). Heavily pulled down corners are an expression of extreme contempt and ill will. One twisted corner of the lips speaks of the irony of such a grin.
Pay attention to your eyebrows and forehead. A wrinkled forehead can indicate discontent, shock, rage and anger. Crescent-shaped eyebrows reflect a person’s surprise.

How often do you see a smile on your faces facing you? Regrettably, it does not always mean genuine joy. A smile gives a man a cloying expression, as if he is tasting something sweet and smiling. Such a "smile" may mean that you are simply flattered. An embarrassed and suddenly appearing smile, similar to a grimace, hides strong emotions due to a hopeless situation (or just a person does not want to smile at the moment, but does it just out of politeness). A facial expression with a kind, relaxed smile will demonstrate that a person is really happy to see you or sincerely admires something. If a person has such an expression, as if he had just bitten off a lemon, then know that you are dealing with an impudent and rude person. A smile at one corner of your mouth will reveal an indecisive, restrained person. Instead of a smile, a grin will betray an individual who is uncivilized and envious, who is ready to enjoy other people's misfortunes.
As you can see, different facial expressions can help to recognize a person’s insincerity, his mood and intentions.
