Not everyone agrees to quench their thirst with water. And for the holidays, children are supposed to serve something tasty and tempting. In the midst of the berry season, the cranberry cocktail is becoming the contender for primacy. To the best of sour, with an interesting flavor, it will appeal to both children and adults.
Custard cocktail
The first option is somewhat similar in preparation to compote, but has a multi-component composition. First, the berries are ground with a small amount of sugar; when they start the juice, half the amount of the lingonberry mass is added to sugar. The pan with the workpiece is placed on the fire - but does not boil! When all the sugar has dissolved, the drink is filtered and mixed in half with good green tea. Such a cocktail of lingonberry chilled perfectly quenches thirst. Yes, and nourishes the body with vitamins.
Foamy cocktail
The following proposal is more satisfying, but no less tasty and vitamin. Grams of one hundred berries are well rubbed, you can even use a regular pestle, although breaking through with a blender is certainly faster. The homogeneous mass is poured with half a liter of cream (fat content is at your discretion) and whipped to a lush and stable foam. Children really like it!
Honey drink
The next cocktail with lingonberries in a blender is for those to whom the berry seems sour, and sugar in drinks is not too welcome. A kitchen assistant mixes lingonberries (about one hundred grams) and a teaspoonful full of thick honey. When the mass becomes smooth, milk is added in a volume of 300 ml, and the blender is turned on again. There are enough products for two glasses of a drink that is pleasant in every way.
Lingonberry milkshake
In the heat, a wonderful cold cranberry cocktail according to the following recipe is useful.
- Three spoons (possibly with a slide) of berries are placed in a blender.
- A large spoon of elderberry syrup, a stack of cranberry juice and a little more, about 70 ml, low-fat kefir are poured here.
- Juice is squeezed from half a lemon into a bowl; it should turn out about a teaspoon.
- Lingonberry cocktail is whisked one and a half to two minutes; there is no ice at this stage.
- The highball glass is cooled, a drink is poured into it, and only then a few ice cubes are dropped.
If a cowberry cocktail is served for some special occasion, the wine glass can be decorated with cowberry berries and a sprig of fresh mint. If the day is ordinary - just drink it.
Cocktail with lingonberries and ice cream
This dessert will appeal to children even more than all previous cocktail options. Moreover, the taste of the drink can be varied: traditionally cream ice cream is put in it, but the option with vanilla will be no less interesting. Chocolate ice cream will give a delicious, but slurred color cocktail made of lingonberry: if it doesn’t bother the children (or you), you can safely use it. To facilitate preparation, you can pre-squeeze the juice from the berries. In this form, the cocktail will definitely appeal to everyone, even whims, who do not like juices with pulp. A glass of juice, as much slightly chilled milk and a 10-gram serving of ice cream are whipped with a mixer. A lingonberry cocktail is poured into glasses, and they are solemnly awarded to children.
