Long before the start of the New Year holidays and the winter holidays, responsible parents sorted out options for entertainment and fun for their beloved children. And here it is unlikely to do without a festive Christmas tree! But the list of productions is so wide that it is difficult to guess where the child will have fun and interesting.
The most luxurious and grandiose event was prepared last year by the Zapashny brothers. This time, the circus performances were based on Slavic legends and fairy tales, which were so colorful, fantastic, and fascinatingly embodied in the program “The Real Dream” (Vernadsky’s circus). Reviews from an enthusiastic audience proved that the organizers managed to please not only children, but also adults.
United format
Creative imagination knows no bounds, and only circus art can embody it virtuoso and multidimensionally. Famous trainers Zapashny brothers ventured into a large-scale experiment, resorting to the new format of the circus show - United. Two performances were simultaneously presented to the Moscow public at once: “A prophetic dream” and “Mistress of a dead lake”, which took place at two different venues. The first is in the Big Circus on Vernadsky Avenue, the second is in Luzhniki, on the small arena. Both programs are united by a common style of Slavic fantasy, famous fairy-tale characters, plot locations. The difference lies in the view of events, the fantasy world and its heroes.
Plot
Colorful Slavic mythology, surrounded by a halo of mystery, was originally presented and beaten in the circus program “Prophetic Dream” (Vernadsky Circus). The description of the king’s life in fairy lands inhabited by flying dragons, cunning witches and gobbies formed the basis of the plot of the performance.
The ruler of Tsarev-hail was widowed early, but he still had only one joy - the beautiful daughter Elena. The intrigue of the performance begins with its unexpected and mysterious disappearance. The king was looking for her for a long time, but only in vain. And so that he would not be so sad, he had to marry a second time. And now the king has a dream where his beloved daughter comes to him and puts a golden ring on his finger. Helen tells her father to go to the magic well. And the king understands that important changes are coming. Time to wake up…
The tale is filled with humor, unexpected characters and plot twists. In the finale, as is customary in Russian fairy tales, good triumphs over evil and treacherous devilry.
Artists
All this theatrical performance is accompanied by bright and exciting numbers of air gymnasts, plastic balancers, tightrope walkers, masterly acrobats on masts and illusionists. Animals are also attracted to immerse themselves in a fantastic atmosphere: funny ponies and bears, provocative dogs and goats. As well as such exotic species as hyena, llamas, parrots, mesmerizing pythons and crocodiles.
To create a rich circus program, theater artists, the best technical specialists, and organizers were also involved. Among the "star" circus artists - acrobats "Kenya Boys".
Costumes
The original fairy-tale setting is the thematic props and costumes of artists for the performance "Prophetic Dream" (Vernadsky Circus). Their description can be fit into several key epithets: bright, creative and detailed. Each image of the artist is not just colorful makeup and sequined tights. This is an amazing design study of each element of the costume, in the aggregate recreating a full-fledged mythological character, whether it be a beautiful princess in Slavic decoration or forest scum with her characteristic hooves and horns.
