In addition to the fact that shrimps are very useful, they are also low-calorie (per 100 grams of the product, only 95 kcal), therefore they are recommended to be used by people who monitor their own weight. They also contain fifty times more useful trace elements than in meat.
They include: iron, iodine, phosphorus, sodium, sulfur, potassium, magnesium, calcium, copper, zinc, manganese, fluorine and others. They are rich in vitamins A, C, E, PP and a group of vitamins B (B3, B1, B9, B6 and B12).
The high content of minerals, fatty acids and nutrients helps to strengthen the human immune system and maintain hormonal levels. Potassium helps normalize the functioning of the nervous system and strengthens blood vessels. Vitamin E prevents early skin aging, makes it supple and youthful.
Zinc is responsible for the condition of our nails and hair, and also helps the rapid healing of various skin lesions. Calcium is known to help strengthen and restore teeth and bones. Shrimp cream soup with croutons
We will need:
- freshly frozen shrimp - half a kilogram;
- a glass of pasteurized milk ;
- butter 30 gr.;
- wheat flour 20 gr.;
- onions, carrots;
- eight pieces of toast;
- yolk of one egg.
Prawns boiled in salted water are cleaned of the shell and cut into several parts. The remaining broth after shrimp is not poured. Wheat flour must be dried in a frying pan to a light yellow hue, let it cool slightly and gently dilute with broth.
Passed sliced โโshrimps with vegetables (onions and carrots) in butter - you can add a little broth. Next, we pass the resulting mass through a meat grinder or blender. Add a small amount of broth and flour to the minced seafood, again send it to cook literally for ten minutes.
While the shrimp soup is on fire, prepare the egg-milk mass. Take the yolk and gradually add it to the hot milk - boil until a thick, uniform consistency is formed. Pour our tasty mass into the chilled soup and serve croutons. For decoration, you can use greens.
Piquant shrimp and mushroom soup
Ingredients:
- champignons or oyster mushrooms 300 gr.;
- as many shrimp;
- egg;
- liter of mushroom broth ;
- milk 50 gr.;
- butter;
- vegetables (onions, garlic, carrots, green peas);
- dill, cilantro.
Boiled shrimp until cooked, peel and cool. The broth, in which crustaceans were cooked, must be filtered, then add the chopped mushrooms, onions with carrots and green peas, sautรฉed in butter.
Boil vegetables with mushrooms for ten minutes, then add peeled seafood and an egg-milk mixture to it. We prepare the mass as follows: combine the egg with milk and butter, mix everything well. Beat the prepared shrimp and mushroom soup in a blender and sprinkle with chopped herbs. It turns out a gentle, fragrant cream soup - you lick your fingers!
Unfortunately, our planet has a very unfavorable environmental situation, affecting the quality of all products, including crustaceans, which accumulate all toxic substances. Shrimps caught in the most polluted countries are the most hazardous to health.
Therefore, it is highly discouraged to purchase seafood from suspicious and unverified suppliers. When choosing, pay attention to the color of the crustacean head: if it is black, this indicates improper storage of the product and its spoilage. Cook with pleasure only with quality products!
