Got a wasp? Have you found the source of their breeding and do not know what to do next? Read my article! Today I will tell you how to remove the hornet’s nest. So go ahead!
How to clean a hornet’s nest
Wasp, scatter!
It doesn’t matter where you found the nest - on the balcony, in the garden, in the attic, in the garage. Before you destroy it, you need to take care of reducing the number of wasps themselves. Otherwise, they will fly out of their "house" in a swarm and make you very painful!
Let's find out how to deal with them and how to withdraw!
- We don’t touch the hornet’s nest yet, but set several traps next to it.
- For this we need plastic bottles. Cut off the bottom of the bottle, apply liquid jam (or fat) to the inside of the walls. If things are not good with liquid jam, dilute the thick with hot water.
- Wasps learn dainty and begin to fly out of the nest. Having flown into the trap, they will not fly back, because the jam is viscous, which means that the walls of the trap are slippery!
- As soon as enough insects accumulate in traps, collect them (traps) and burn them!
- All! Now you can go to the aspen "dwelling". Let's find out how to clean a hornet’s nest!
Attack!
We take an aerosol with chemicals (for example, "Reid") that act against insects, and process the entrance to the hornet’s nest. Try to inject a stream of poison directly inside. Do everything very carefully and carefully, as the remaining wasps can understand that they are trying to survive, and will attack you! To do this, put tight gloves on your hands and a mosquito net on your face. As soon as you were able to process the nest, you can safely proceed to the final stage of this simple procedure - the destruction of the aspen "home".
How to remove a hornet’s nest?
- We put on tight clothes, gloves, a mosquito net. Depending on the size of the nest, we select one or another container with water (for example, a bucket). Gently from below we bring this capacity to the aspen nest, and immerse it in water. If it is high - stand on a stool. The fact is that insects make entrance to the nest from below, so they simply will not have time to leave their "house"! We drown the nest in water for several minutes. The result - the "house" is flooded, wasps - were killed. We remove the nest and throw it out. We process all the places where the nests were built with insecticides.
- There is another way to remove the socket. We take some rather dense plastic bags (for example garbage bags). We dress one in one on the principle of a nesting doll. Then we quickly put the bag on the nest from below, and tightly hold it on top with our hands. We tear off the nest. Tie the bag tightly. We get rid of this “gift” as soon as possible - we throw it into the fire! Otherwise, the wasps just gnaw it and with a bad mood will break free right in your face! As in the first case, we treat this place with an insecticide.
- If you are terribly afraid of wasps and do not even want to hear anything about how to clean a hornet’s nest, call professionals! The pest control service once and for all will save you not only wasps, but also from any pests - bed bugs, ants, cockroaches, bugs ... In addition, they will give you a guarantee for their work.
