The largest number of different tournaments is dedicated to this particular type of card game, Texas Hold'em. There is unlimited and limited Hold'em. It will not be difficult to master its rules, but it can take a lot of time to hone the skill of selecting the successful combination of "Texas Hold'em".
rules
They use a standard deck of 52 cards. Can play from a couple to ten people. Before the first distribution is made, it is worth determining the nominal dealer of the next. But this does not mean at all that the player will be required to constantly deal cards. After all, for example, in the online versions of the game this happens automatically, and in the casino the dealer deals with the distribution. The main thing, of course, is the combination of Texas Hold'em, but you also need to know how to play the game. After the dealer has been determined, the players are obligated to put the blinds (blind bets).

This is done to ensure that the bank always has a minimum amount. To do this, select two players who bet money before they can see their cards. There is a big and a small blind. Big is the sum of small times two. Usually a big bet should be made by the player sitting to the left of the one who puts the smaller amount blindly. Each player must visit as a dealer, as he is changed at all distributions. Thus, blind participants will make all participants in the game.
Game progress and Texas Hold'em combinations
When all the manipulations with the bets are done, the players receive two cards, turned upside down. They are called closed, since only those who receive them can see them. Then, five other cards are laid down on the table, shirts down. They are called common, since each player at the table can use them to collect the best combination of five cards: two of his own and three on the table. Remember, before you sit down at the table, carefully study the rules of Texas Hold'em poker, combinations and strategies.
Bidding rounds
The pre-flop is the first round of bidding, or rather, everything that happens before the first three cards are on the table. At this point, the players, looking at their two cards, decide what to do in the game.
The first player to go is the player sitting to the left of the person who placed the big blind bet. He is also called the player "under the gun", as he is in a disadvantageous position. Each player has four options, namely:
- Fold. This means discarding cards, refusing further participation in the game. It is worth noting that the player will not be able to get any money, even if he has already made a blind bet.
- Call. The player remains and the game, equalizing a big blind bet.
- Raise. Allows you to raise your current bet and set a large amount to stay in the game.
- "Beth." This action is only possible if no one has used it before and did not raise.
When the first round is completed, the dealer puts on the table the first three cards, which are called the flop. Already taking into account these cards, players can assess their chances of success and notice whether they should continue the game. Usually at this moment beginners and neat players discard cards. Others decide what to do. Mostly a serious struggle is being waged and the muhlezh begins.
The third round is Turn. After the end of the auction, the fourth community card is laid out on the table.
"River" refers to the period when the last fifth card hits the table and players make their last bets.
Time to open cards
After all bets have been placed, it is the turn of the showdown. Players open their closed combinations and it is determined which of them has collected the most successful. The one who has collected the highest combination takes the bank, that is, all the money from the bets. If several players have collected combinations that are equivalent in size, then the bank is divided equally between them. After the bank is handed out, the position of the dealer is shifted to the left to the next participant in the game.
Differences between Limit and Unlimited Hold'em
Regardless of whether it is unlimited or fixed Hold'em, the rules of the game remain the same, but the bets are made differently. Also, Texas Hold'em combinations remain the same, photos of which are presented below.
- Without a certain limit. In this variation of the game, players have the opportunity to bet any number of chips, regardless of what stage the game is at. Thanks to this, the game becomes more dynamic and gambling, in connection with which this variety is very popular on television. This also suggests that a person can win very quickly and a very large amount if he collects successful combinations of "Texas Hold'em". But at the same time there is a big risk of losing all your savings, which is not suitable for players who are just starting to practice poker. In addition, there is an important point: here the โraiseโ is at least twice the sum of the opponentโs last bet. For example, if the last bet was ten dollars, then the "raise" should be at least twenty.
- Fixed bid limit. Here all bets have their own specific size. This option is ideal for beginners in poker, but the โflopsโ in this game will occur quite often. The first two rounds of bidding suggest that the "raises" and "bets" will be no more than a small bet. In the remaining rounds, you can only raise by the amount of a large bet. It is also worth considering that bets can be made no more than three times per round.
Based on these rules, different strategies are used that lead players to win. Therefore, you should carefully consider the choice of strategy when choosing one or another way of playing.
