No modern enterprise can start its work without the consent of the fire supervision authorities. To obtain permission, it is necessary to fulfill several points of the requirements, including ensuring the fire safety of the facility. For this purpose, automatic or manual fire extinguishing means are acquired, fire warning equipment is installed, personnel are trained in working with this equipment, and fire safety briefings are given. One of the large number of warning systems on the market is the Astra-712 security control panel.
Features
The Astra-712 device has such features as:
- Ability to work in two modes (security, fire).
- Arming and disarming is carried out using the button on the remote control or through the remote control.
- When working in fire mode, it is provided for the installation of various monitoring sensors with an audible alarm if they are triggered.
- The ability to power both from a 220 V network and from a backup source of 12 V.
The security mode provides control of loop conditions and has two positions: norm or violation. It gives out a light and sound signal.
Fire mode has three states: normal, violation, and malfunction. When sensors are triggered, sound and light alarms are turned on.
When installing under the protection of premises or when turning on the control of fire sensors, the device can be turned on and off using hidden switches or remotely using a remote control. To use the remote wireless switch (key fob), the device must be equipped with an additional system of UBOS (wireless security alarm device) "Astra-RI".
"Astra-712". Installation instructions in the "guard" mode
Installation under protection is carried out in the following order:
- Close all doors, windows on which security contact detectors are installed.
- Turn on the hidden switch in the room or using the remote control. A beep will sound to indicate that the delay time has started.
- Leave the secure room at the set time, close the front door.
- After a delay time, the device switches to the βguardβ mode. If it was not possible to leave the premises on time, the alarm will be displayed on the remote control.
Disarming occurs in the reverse order:
- Open the room. The device switches to the βdelayβ state and a short sound signal is issued.
- Before the delay time expires, turn off the indoor switch or disarm the key fob. If the shutdown time exceeds the set time, the siren will generate an βalarmβ on the central control panel and a sound signal will be heard .
"Astra-712". Connection in the fire mode
This mode of the device makes it possible to control the threat of fire using special sensors.
Installation:
- check the serviceability of the loop (on the remote control - βreadyβ);
- arm the facility with a switch or key fob;
- make sure standby mode is on.
Disarming:
- turn off the toggle switch or disarm the device with the key fob;
- after 10 seconds, the device enters the βreadyβ mode, a signal appears on the indicator, a sound signal is heard.
Connection together with the Astra-712 device of fire detectors must be carried out according to the requirements established by the manufacturer: voltage is supplied via a loop, power supply is at least 9 V (type IP 212-41M, IP 212-54N or with the same characteristics).
Power supplies
To power the Astra-712 device as the main source, it is recommended to use an alternating current network of 220 V. As a backup source, a 12 V battery. When the voltage disappears at the main source of 220 V, the detectors are powered (as well as light and sound alarms, which can operate at this time) will come from a backup battery of 12 V. Connection of the main and backup sources should be carried out only after the operating instructions supplied with the Astra-712 device have been properly studied tatsii.
