And although his recipe was known many centuries ago, and today it is widely used by those people who suffer from allergies or those who fast. Moreover, most often people consume almond milk, whose taste is much more tender and softer than that of milk of animal origin. In addition, it is stored much longer and does not contain lactose and cholesterol, and it includes proteins, vitamins, minerals and iron.

Almond milk can be found in various cuisines of the world, it is used both as an independent dish, and as dressings for jelly, kutye, cereals, soups and many more dishes.

The technology for preparing vegetable milk, regardless of the ingredients used, is approximately the same. For example, almonds are thoroughly washed, soaked for a while, and then chopped together with water in a blender (in a ratio of 1: 3) until the nut is completely dissolved in water. Formed in this way, the mass is well squeezed with gauze. Vanilla or cinnamon is often added to almond milk, the recipe of which will be discussed below, to add flavor, as well as various sweet fruits or honey to give it sweetness. To get a refreshing drink, you can add mint sprigs to milk, and if you use cocoa in the recipe, it will turn out chocolate.

Consider the classic recipe for almond milk.

Half a glass of almonds should be soaked overnight, and peeled in the morning, put in a blender, add boiled water at the rate of 1: 3 (depending on the desired density of the drink) and beat thoroughly. In the process of cooking add one fourth vanilla sticks, two tablespoons of honey and a little water. The finished product must be filtered through a sieve and consumed both in a warm and cold form, but it is stored in a cold place.

On the basis of such milk, you can prepare other drinks by adding several ingredients. So, for this purpose you can use goji berries. They are pre-washed, soaked for some time in water, and then added with mint leaves to milk and whipped in a blender.

If you take the famous Indian powdered tea, called matches, and add it to almond milk, you can get a new drink that will have an amazing taste and color.

It should be noted that the remaining cake is often used for culinary purposes, it is mixed with fruits or dried fruits to obtain almond cottage cheese or sweets, and it can also be dried to obtain almond flour.

Another recipe for cooking vegetable milk involves combining one hundred grams of sweet almond and ten pieces of bitter almond, two glasses of boiling water, vanilla on the tip of a knife, one and a half glasses of sugar or one tablespoon of honey.

Pour almonds with boiling water, peel off the skin and pass through a meat grinder. Add sugar or honey and one glass of boiling water to the resulting mass, allow to cool and strain through a sieve. Add another glass of water to the resulting pomace, cool and filter again. The resulting infusions are mixed and vanillin is added.

Thus, almond milk is a useful product because it contains a large amount of calcium, fatty acids, vitamins, magnesium and phosphorus, and a very small amount of calories. Such a drink is recommended to be regularly used by women, as it helps to preserve the beauty of the skin and hair, and slows down the aging process.
