Ground forces - the largest and most diverse type of combat force, which was created to repel an enemy attack and to protect the national territory of the Russian Federation. It is considered the largest and largest among other troops. Probably, every modern person thinks that in the current age of technology, infantry does not occupy such an important place as before.
But, unfortunately, or fortunately, this is not at all the case. From ancient times it was believed that until the stranger’s foot set foot on the vast expanses of the state, it would be free. This rule also exists in our time, therefore, ground forces remain the most popular types of armed forces. It is they who will have to fight back in the event of an attack.
The ground forces include: tank, motorized rifle, artillery, air defense. Unions and associations of such troops are the basis of military circles. The military circle is responsible for a certain territory, which is appointed by the General Staff. The basis is motorized rifle - the core of battle formations. They are equipped with powerful weapons: mortars, artillery, anti-tank missiles, tanks, anti-aircraft and missile systems. The ground forces of the Russian Federation went through the first stage of reform. An organizational and rational structure has been created, and the strength and strength of personnel have been brought back to normal. Ground forces are preparing for the second stage of reform: it will be aimed at improving the organizational structure, the possibility of fire destruction, and the quality of operational training of troops and staffs.
In 2005, the organizational structure was optimized. The ground forces underwent the following changes:
staffing levels were reduced, and the training network was improved, which is responsible for training junior specialists. The number of staff was reduced to the necessary minimum. The same amount is planned to be implemented this year. The formation of two teams has already begun, which should be deployed in the North Caucasian Military District. 12.8 billion were allocated for their formation. The construction of training grounds and towns, which are intended to train young fighters, is being intensively carried out. Reforming all Russian ground forces is the main task.
It is far from a secret that until recently all the professionals were conscript soldiers who, after serving six months, entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Defense. Nothing has changed in this regard, the soldiers will serve not 3 years, but 3, and then they will go home. Few people decide for a second term.
Initially, the contract system was created for adults and experienced people who want to continue military service. Mostly these are men over 30 who have a family. So far this problem is not so acute, there is another - social. Unfortunately, there are only a few of these people in the troops. The problem is that the executive phase coincides with the preparatory phase. That is, only after the recruitment of citizens under the contract begins the construction of housing for them. After the entry into force of the contract, they do not receive all the necessary conditions promised in the contract. All this is still being finalized. There is still something to strive for!
