Despite the fact that we are all intelligent people, quite often we are embraced by feelings and emotions, which not everyone can cope with. We are talking about such a wonderful feeling as love, which captivates a person and makes him commit sometimes unexpected actions. The logical conclusion of a successful romantic relationship is a wedding, after which the man and woman belong exclusively to each other.
A monogamous relationship is such an interaction between a man and a woman that in no way allows for the possibility of betrayal or love relationships with another person. It is on this basis that the family is held, which is not only a unit of society, but also the place where children are born and raised. Therefore, a real relationship between a man and a woman should be based solely on love and mutual respect.
However, according to psychologists, not every man is ready to have a monogamous relationship, since you need to grow to this level. In early youth, most young people, as a rule, have many romantic relationships with different girls, since it is sometimes difficult for a person to sort out his feelings. Today he likes one girl, tomorrow he is another, and the lack of experience and seriousness leads to superficial relationships. In early youth there is nothing wrong with this, because during this period a person is looking for his soul mate, with whom he is going to spend his whole life. However, it was during this period that people's relations to each other were laid and formed. In the future, it is their views that will determine the possibility of behavior in a particular life situation. It is, of course, about the possibility of meeting in the future another person who is not averse to have a romantic relationship with someone who is bound by marriage. Therefore, the vital attitude of the person himself to such a situation in principle will be crucial here.
In our country, it is traditionally believed that monogamous relationships are the foundation of a good and dignified life. If we take the East and a number of Muslim countries, then polygamous marriages are allowed there, that is, when one man can officially marry several women. Most interestingly, most women in the East agree with this state of affairs, since the Muslim faith allows a man to have up to 4 wives.
In countries of Europe and America, only monogamous relations are officially recognized, which allow a married couple to be officially married exclusively to each other. However, real life, unfortunately, is full of examples where a man or woman is cheating on their soulmate, and the reasons can be completely different. There are cases when a man may simply be seduced by an attractive girl or may accidentally cheat on his wife while intoxicated. At the same time, there is such a type of men who cannot be content with one woman, and begin to meet with other girls in the future without a twinge of conscience. Of course, these examples show completely different circumstances of treason, and therefore the approach to such situations should be different.
You need to understand that not every person likes monogamous relationships, such people are not at all aimed at creating a family. Their goal may be a lifestyle that provides for the opportunity to meet with different people, for some it’s even good. If we take such a category of people as poets, writers, musicians and artists, then their life examples just tell us that many of them had novels “on the side”. You need to understand that for a man, a girl is a kind of muse, which inspires him both to various actions and to achieve certain creative heights. Therefore, relations between people of creative professions are often woven into a complex ball, which is sometimes very difficult to understand.
Summing up all of the above, we can conclude that human relations are so wide and varied that for their study and understanding it takes a long time to study at the faculty of applied psychology. The main thing is to understand that in no case can you make superficial and quick conclusions, condemning the act of a person. Of course, for each of us it is monogamous relations that should become an example of a worthy and proper life, but pitfalls can come across this path, to overcome which a person should be guided by his moral principles and faith.
