Amway Sect

Today, there are a huge number of companies that work on the principle of financial pyramids or network marketing. Due to the financial instability of the population, social insecurity and universal unemployment, people do not hesitate to rush into the pool of the promised "financial well-being", but find themselves embroiled in a commercial sect. One of these sects is the notorious Amway company, which distributes low-quality goods and recruits new members of the "large Amway family."

Long-term studies of these organizations by psychologists have allowed them to attribute them to destructive sects without a pronounced religious component with a cult of wealth.

Organizations such as the Amway Sect are not aimed at distributing their goods, they are not interested in improving the quality of advertised products and expanding their positions, and they are directing all their efforts to increasing the number of people entering a "new life."

Even the Christian church recognized such organizations as commercial sects. Amway company leaders, as a rule, flaunt their financial interest, they openly say that they are going to earn money on newly attracted users. They use many psychological tricks to take hold of the minds of newcomers craving for profit: they sell literature, CDs with lectures of “successful people,” which they must listen to and read every day to increase their motivation to promote goods and attract new contacts. At the same time, on the sale of a variety of "business accessories", the organizers also receive good revenue. Seminars and lectures are also organized, where, as a rule, an unknown American who is given out as a “diamond” passionately talks about his dream and success. Listening to him, you immediately imagine yourself in your own villa somewhere in Monaco with a millionth account in a Swiss bank. The development of motivation and goals is the main thing that aspire to instill in newcomers so that they begin to work actively for leaders and make a profit.

The worst thing is that, becoming an Amway distributor, a person becomes economically dependent. He is told that he should invest money, since the “bright future” will come only when he becomes independent. At the same time, legal entities (independent entrepreneurs of Amway) are required to attract new members to build their pyramid. As a rule, they use the 4p marketing complex , which consists in explaining the pricing in this system to a new client, the principle of a quality product, its place of production and issues related to advertising. The Amway sect grows on one branch, where one of the leaders “preaches”, and “parishioners” should never cross, and all those who miraculously escaped this dependence and left the sect are called “losers” and cited as an example to newcomers.

There are many ways to attract new members of the Amway sect; there are so-called “hot contacts”, “warm” and “cold contacts”.

Hot is called the recruitment of close people: relatives, husband (wife), children, parents, etc. To warm ones are all acquaintances with whom a person has ever talked. And to the cold - all the other people. Cold contacts in network marketing begin to be used only when all close people, relatives, friends and acquaintances have already experienced the influence of the sect, but have resisted, then the person will switch to other ways of finding potential victims.

If your loved one or friend fell under the influence of an amway sect, try to convince him by all possible means, take him to a psychotherapist, come up with new goals and motivations, otherwise, the further, the more severe the trauma of a broken dream will be.
