How to cook potato cream soup with chicken?
This dish is especially loved by children. After all, such a soup turns out to be surprisingly tender and tasty. To prepare it (for 6 servings) we need the following components:
- frozen or chilled chicken legs - 800 g;
- small salt - add to taste;
- black peppercorns - 5 pcs.;
- cream is not very oily (10%) - 230 ml;
- sweet onions - 1 head;
- potato tubers - 4 small pieces;
- bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
- canned green peas - a standard jar;
- medium-sized fresh carrots - 2 pcs.;
- refined vegetable oil - 30 ml (for frying vegetables).
Preparation of the basis for the dish
Chicken cream soup can be made from different parts of the bird. We decided to use only meaty hams. They must be thawed well (if necessary), washed, peeled, then put the meat in a pan. Next, it is required to pour one and a half liters of drinking water into the same dishes, bring it to a boil, remove the resulting foam with a slotted spoon and cook for 20 minutes. At the same time, you can do potato processing. It must be cleaned and cut into not very thick cubes. In this form, vegetables should be laid out for meat and cook another quarter of an hour. After this time, all components should completely become soft.
