Fried flounder caviar at home

In preparing the dish, we will need caviar in the amount that you "extracted" from the fish, as well as:

  • flour;
  • "Fish" spices;
  • juice of half a lemon;
  • a mixture of peppers.

For frying - vegetable oil (refined, not salad). And you can start cooking.

Cooking sequence

Cooking this dish is simple:

  • In a suitable container we combine flour with ground peppers and spices for cooking fish. Mix until smooth.
  • We wash flounder caviar, salt and, adding juice squeezed from half a lemon, place in a separate bowl. Gently mix.
  • We roll each piece of caviar in breading (here flour and spices play its role, but you can, as mentioned earlier, use batter, breadcrumbs, sesame, and cereal).
  • We warm the cast-iron pan thoroughly and pour oil (quite generously, about a finger thick). We wait until it warms up well, and lay the flounder caviar.
  • Fry it in vegetable oil on each side until golden. We take out a slotted spoon, allowing excess fat to drain.
  • We put the finished dish on a flat plate, which we pre-cover with a paper towel or kitchen towel so that the excess oil is completely gone. And then we transfer it to the serving capacity.

Fried caviar is best served hot or warm, along with appetizers and salads. You can choose a suitable side dish: boiled rice, stewed vegetables or mashed potatoes.

Salt?

It is very interesting, what tastes like salted caviar? Just amazing! And the preparation is quite simple: you only need to take three ingredients, and in the end you get a delicious snack for a festive or everyday table!

By consistency, maybe it is a little dry, so it can be attributed to the so-called dry salting. But this is all the details and nuances, the main thing is that it turns out deliciously.

It is good to spread caviar on a sandwich, make sushi / rolls with it, you can decorate ready-made salads with it, and just eat a spoon, in the end! To prepare a dish at home, if you are lucky and the flounder you bought is with caviar, you will need:

  • caviar itself;
  • crystalline salt;
  • ground pepper mixture (you can take just black pepper).
how to salt

Simple cooking!

  • First of all, remove the film from the product. We spread the caviar, prepared, washed and peeled, in a deep bowl or in a container with a lid.
  • Generously fill the product with salt mixed with ground black pepper (the amount of the burning ingredient is calculated according to personal preference).
  • Mix gently so as not to disturb the structure of the caviar.
  • Close the lid and remove to the bottom of the refrigerator.

How much to withstand the dish - you decide. If you want to get a “young”, that is, slightly salted flounder caviar, then one day will be enough. If you prefer that the dish is saturated with salt well, then the product should be aged for three to five days. This will be quite enough to get a fully finished product.

By the way, it can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time, only excess salt needs to be removed. But usually it doesn’t reach such a long storage, and home or guests eat the dish immediately after cooking - for several days. Bon appetit to everyone!
