Classical dance is perhaps the most popular form of the whole variety of dance styles and trends. In addition, it is he who underlies any training and almost all the dances that are performed today.
Classical dance is based on a very subtle and thorough study of all movements, positions of all parts of the body - both the legs and head, and the body with hands. For a very long time this direction has been the most popular and in demand not only in the ballet world. The fact is that classical dance has long turned into a fundamental form of plastic in choreography, without it it is impossible to learn any of any other areas of dance.
Very often people come to learn choreography just for themselves, and not for building a dance career and distant plans. In classical dance classes, they teach all the most significant subtleties of ballet mastery, which serves as an example of true harmony, a combination of the most beautiful classical music and sophisticated movements.
Classical dance requires, first of all, the presence of a large dance step, eversion of the legs, plastic and free possession of the legs and arms and precise
coordination of movements. Of great importance are also endurance and strength. It is the eversion of the legs that serves as the most important principle and basis of all movements, all kinds of positions and postures, both open and closed, and crossed, are based on it. Equally important are movements in and out.
And the principles of such a dance are based on the selection of movements, their systematization and a special division into groups of main elements. In choreography, individual groups of movements are studied, united by some common features characteristic of each group. This applies to both squats and the position of the body, rotation movements and all the rest.
It is with classical choreography that the training in any dance begins, whether it be a belly dance or Indian classical dance. That is why classical dance for children is so popular: it is a whole system of movements and means, historically developed, harmonious and stable, which is based on a poetic interpretation of the image created on the stage, as well as combination with the selected music, both classical and folk. Incidentally, it is in childhood that it is possible to comprehend all the basics of classical dance. Adult ligaments and muscles are no longer able to achieve all the inversion, flexibility and plasticity required for classical choreography. That is why, for example, they begin to learn ballet very early.
Classical modern dance is divided into Eastern and European.
Oriental dances are dance directions and schools in China, Korea, Japan, India, Vietnam, and Thailand. I must say that gradually they become more and more popular due to their exoticism and beauty.
European dance as a system with its own terminology developed in France, where the main groups of movements, the positions of the legs, arms, legs, head and body, virtuoso, graceful and refined, were built. The Russian school of classical dance is especially notable for its nobleness and sophistication, purity of movements and forms, as well as expressiveness and drama.
