Historical manor
Private ownership first appeared in these parts under Tsar Ivan the Terrible, the first estate belonged to the boyar and governor V.P. Golovin. In 1918, the estate became state property, and from 1919 until 1923 the orphanage for young children was working in Marfino, where the wife of the People's Commissar of Education A. A. Lunacharskaya was the director. Until 1930, the estate was improved by the artisans of industrial cooperation, after which the health resort was handed over to the pilots, setting up a rest house for them.
During the war years, a front-line hospital was organized on the territory of Marfino, where combatants and the labor front were treated. In April 1944, a sanatorium for metropolitan officers was organized on the basis of a military hospital. In 1986, the sanatorium changed its name to the clinical central military sanatorium "Marfinsky". Since 2011, he has been part of the branch system of the FSBI SKK "Moscow Region" of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
