Team “Fasten the rope!” (indicating the place of fastening) means that the firefighter should use one of the four nodes designed for this: the fire station, bowline, figure eight or bayonet with a hose.
- Firefighter (first) knot allows you to unfasten the rope after the descent, pulling the short edge.
- Bulin and figure eight are highly durable.
- A bayonet with a hose is used mainly when it is necessary to fasten the rope to the structure after its tension.
Fire brigades and fire station applications
Team “On the life rope down!” means that the fireman needs to fasten the rope to the structure with the first or second knot and, holding on to it, carefully and without jerking down from the window down. Such training must begin no higher than from the second floor of the building, gradually rising up. You need to go down, pushing your feet off the wall and carefully avoiding window openings.
Team "To rescue the victim through an external stationary staircase march!" performed by two firefighters. One insures the victim with a rescue loop, the second takes him down and removes the rescue rope from him.
Team “Double Rescue Loop Tie!” applies when it is necessary to lower the victim, who is unconscious. One loop fixes the victim's legs, and the second is fixed around the waist. This method allows you to firmly fix the victim.
The “Loop the Rescue Loop!” Command means that you need to do the opposite of the previous command.
Unwind Rescue Rope Team means that it is necessary to drop the rope to the specified location, having secured it first to the structure.
