How to draw blueberries in pencil

At least once in their life everyone saw a wonderful blueberry. It is small, blue-black in color and grows on small but rather dense bushes. And what a delicious jam from this berry!

So let's draw this wonderful plant. It is quite simple.

Essential Items

In order to draw blueberries with a pencil, we need:

  • white sheet of paper;
  • a simple pencil;
  • eraser;
  • color pencils (optional).

Stage one

First, on our piece of paper, draw a simple twig. That is a small curved thin line. Several branches can be drawn from it. This will make our sprout look more natural.

Next, at the end of the branch or any of the branches, draw a circle. He will later become our blueberry berry.

In the lower part of the circle we denote the indentation by a smaller circle. This detail is necessary, as it will make our blueberries visually slightly flattened.

There can be several berries on one branch, which means that you can easily draw a few more blueberries. It all depends on how you yourself imagine your ideal twig of wild berries.

Now you need to finish small leaves at the base of the berries. Small leaves may not be visible in every blueberry. In nature, ideal shapes and exactly the same berries are rarely found. Therefore, it is worth drawing them all in a couple of fruits.

Next, we decorate the blueberry stalk itself with a larger leaf. An example is shown in the picture.

Stage Two

Of course, each picture takes on a whole new look if bright colors are added to it. Now you can make your work more natural, tasty and interesting.

How to draw blueberries in paints? The stalk of a blueberry bush is better to draw with a brown pencil or dark green, and even better to mix these two colors, especially if you have watercolor pencils on hand.

Next, we take on large leaves on the stems. We paint them in light green, and in the middle of each sheet we draw dark veins.

Now we decorate the berries themselves. They are round in shape, so you should remember about the bright highlights on each blueberry. All reflections should be indicated on the one hand, they usually depend on the incidence of light. The main color of the berry may be blue or dark purple. But the color should not be too uniform. This technique will make blueberries voluminous and give a natural look.

At the end of your work, you can draw some more blueberry twigs. Think over the background of the picture. After all, it would be logical if your blueberries are in the middle of a forest glade?

Draw yourself and with children, fantasize. There is no limit to perfection.
