If you are tired of the notorious cabbage soup and borsch, then you can diversify the menu with hunting soup. This is a hearty and nutritious dish that is popular in two variations. It is sometimes called "Shulemka", but "Shulemka" is a classic hunting soup, the recipe of which will please any housewife. We suggest preparing both options to choose the one that suits you the most.
Classical "Shulma"
The recipe for a hunting soup is quite simple. They call him a hunter because they cook it from game and most often outdoors. But few of us walk around with a rifle at the ready and with a carcass of a wild boar under our arm, therefore we will prepare soup from ordinary pork purchased at a nearby store.
In general, "Shulemka" came to our tables from Ukraine. You need to cook it for about an hour, and the dish is not very high-calorie - about 35 calories per 100 grams.

To prepare four servings of a recipe for a hunting soup, you need a simple set of products that is in every house:
- 200 grams of meat (preferably fatty pork).
- 3 large potatoes.
- Large carrot.
- Onion head.
- A tablespoon of tomato paste.
- 2 liters of water.
- 3 cloves of garlic.
- A teaspoon of salt.
- Half a teaspoon of ground black pepper.
Pour water into a saucepan and put on a strong fire. Cut the meat into large pieces and fry until a crust forms on a hot frying pan. As soon as the water boils, and the pork is fried, we send it to boiling water (without oil, it should remain in the pan). We peel the potatoes and chopped into large cubes, we send it to fry in the oil on which the meat was just cooked. When the potato becomes golden brown, it can be sent to the meat in boiling water. After peeling, cut the carrots into circles, onion into half rings, put them in the same pan and fry until the vegetables are soft. Add salt, pepper, tomato paste and garlic, passed through a crush. Mix the aromatic fry and add to the pan in a minute. Cover with a lid and keep on medium heat for a couple of minutes. Some piquancy put a whole chili pepper, which before it pierced in several places.

True, the recipe for hunting soup is quite simple? Serve "Shulemka" you need hot, with fresh herbs and brown bread. Homemade pickles and a glass of something strong will not interfere.
Recipe for Sausage Hunting Soup
The second option is more modern: in the dish there are hunting smoked sausages. It is even more satisfying, you need to serve it with an improvised kebab of slices of fried sausages, white bread and slices of leek. The dish is fatty and very nutritious - purely masculine.
We will need
- 200 grams of smoked loin.
- Large carrot.
- 200 grams of hunting sausages.
- A stalk of celery.
- Large onion.
- 4 large potatoes.
- White and red canned beans in a jar.
- 3 cloves of garlic.
- Bay leaf.
- Suneli hops, coriander, salt and pepper to taste.
Pour 3.5 liters of water into the pan and put on fire. Cut the loaf into cubes and lower it into the pan so that the broth is cooked. Chop the potatoes with cubes and add to the bowl. Grate the carrots and fry with chopped celery. Separately, fry chopped onion and sausages in oil. When the potatoes in the soup are almost ready, add the fried vegetables, onions with sausages and beans from cans (without liquid) to the broth. Then comes the turn of spices - they should be added according to your own preferences, but without a bay leaf anywhere.
When the soup is ready, add garlic, passed through a crush, turn off the heat and cover with a lid to insist. Before serving, remove the bay leaf so that it does not give the broth of bitterness.
