Irony, skepticism, sarcasm, cynicism - there are so many concepts that can cause a smile. But this is not a joke, as many people think. The postulates of a science such as psychology, argue that the above applies to means of self-defense. And what is a sense of humor and who has it? Let's get it right.
To begin, make a list of options for humor:
- good and evil;
- black and light;
- thin and rough;
- shiny and flat.
After conducting research, the ubiquitous scientists (writers, sociologists, art historians, psychologists) concluded that people who are able to think logically, associatively and figuratively have a sense of humor. Whereas the manner of joking is directly dependent on education. The more erudite a person is, the more elegant and subtle the jokes. And vice versa, the least enlightened people like frankly rude humor, not really thinking about the appropriateness of the joke and what feelings it causes for the one they joked about.
To better understand what a sense of humor is, we classify people by their good-natured ability to notice the comic side of life:
- Individuals who do not have a sense of humor, who simply do not understand
what is funny, and therefore do not like humor. It’s better not to carry out a test of sense of humor with them - they will fail him.
- People who do not know how to joke, but perfectly understand jokes and love to listen to them.
- A fun audience that knows how to joke, repeating other people's cool quotes and aphorisms, jokes and even occasions from life.
- Talented individuals, authors of their own jokes, aphorisms, jokes, which are then transmitted from one listener to another.
- People who not only know what a sense of humor is, but also have the whole set of positive qualities of humorists. Moreover, they are able to put humor on the shelves: to tell and explain its nature, from which components a joke is formed, and explain how to learn to joke appropriately, gracefully and stunningly.
By the way, the nature of humor was also studied by doctors. They made a startling conclusion: laughter enhances a person’s immunity, promotes healing of the body and psychological state of the soul, prolongs life. But few know how to rejoice, possess optimism and sincerely laugh. It is clear that such a sense of humor is far from given to everyone from birth.
It would be a desire, but to learn everything is possible. A sense of humor is developing! Watch comedies, comedy shows, read jokes, humoresques and satire. But do not just use the fruits of the source of laughter, but try to analyze every joke you hear. Try to understand its mechanism: how did it turn out? What causal relationships were involved? What caused a smile: witty phrase, ambiguity of the situation, puns?
Start joking with jokes. With their help, you can easily avoid a possible awkward pause in a conversation with an interesting person. And later, learn to recall a joke that is appropriate in the context of the conversation, which will become a good illustration of the dialogue and give you many pleasant memories about what emotions the audience caused the bike.
