Thai cuisine is not as widely known in our country as Japanese or Chinese. But people are mistaken when they think that it is not much different from them. This country, of course, is prone to the same ingredients as its neighbors, but interprets them completely in its own way. The same Thai steak salad is unlikely to have analogues in Japan and China. So lovers of exotic cooking are simply obliged to pay closer attention to Thai dishes - they will amaze you with new taste sensations.

It does not take long to prepare, although it requires a variety of components. To begin with, a marinade is constructed: 60 ml of soy sauce, half a dose of rice vinegar and hot sauce (chili or tabasco) are mixed - a couple of teaspoons. Two pieces of meat (Thai steak salad requires beef) are soaked for half an hour in a marinade. For better impregnation, it is sometimes advisable to turn them over. Then the steaks are dried with a towel and quickly, over high heat, roasted. The crust should be strong, and the "inside" should remain half-baked. Torn leaf lettuce (200 g) is mixed with mint and cilantro leaves, 6 cherry tomatoes, cut in half, and large pieces of cucumber. The cooled meat is cut, poured with half the dressing and after 5 minutes it is laid on top. An already collected Thai salad with steak is sprinkled with the remaining sauce and served on the table. For refueling, one and a half large spoons of palm sugar are placed in a blender , one each - water, fish and soy sauce, cilantro leaves, two lime juice, 4 garlic wedges and chili without seeds.

Like absolutely all dishes, Thai steak salad has different recipes. So, in one of the ways, the meat should be soaked not before cooking, but after frying, and for a long time - three hours. And the marinade is done differently. For example, two tablespoons of mustard, vegetable (better than cane, olive or palm) oil and half a spoon of lemon (lime) juice are mixed for it. True, spices are left to the discretion of the cook. Or another recipe suitable for making Thai steak salad: green onions, a stalk of lemon sorghum, cilantro greens, mint leaves (and everything is chopped, not grinded with a blender), lime juice, chili sauce, sweet this time, sugar and fish sauce. Choose what you like best. Checked: with all the marinades listed, Thai salad with steak comes out great.

This country is rich in a variety of snacks. And not necessarily whole meat is included in them (although, perhaps, not a single one can do without beef). You can cook delicious Thai minced meat salad. A pound of it is roasted with stirring; when it starts to brown, salt and chopped clove of garlic are added, and after a couple of minutes the pan can be removed from the heat. While the minced meat is cooling down, two carrots, one Bulgarian red pepper and leek are cut into narrow strips, and 200 g of lettuce (at least cabbage, at least leafy) - into squares. All components are combined and watered with dressing from soy sauce (4 tablespoons), vegetable oil (the same amount), grated ginger, cilantro, mint and vinegar - all this is taken to your taste. Then the Thai salad is mixed and tasted with appetite by all comers.
