After one year, the “bus” received a hydraulic timing (instead of a mechanical one), the fuel pump was transferred to the tank, which allowed to reduce the engine capacity by 1 liter. Along with this, the designers worked on an aluminum subframe, which very often collapsed when driving with a load. Now it has become steel, so the bike “gained” 4.5 kg. In this modification, the Hayabusa was produced almost until 2004.
Further upgrade
The year 2008 was marked by the release of the third generation of Hayabusa models. The motorcycle has undergone significant changes. First of all, they touched the engine and housing.
