Description for the film "Roof"
On September 3, 2009, everyone’s favorite movie was released in wide distribution in the cities of Russia. Everywhere he heard the slogan “Dangerous step on the edge of childhood”. The film suggests the presence of several storylines. The first and central line implies the story of three classmates Lena, Sveta and Dasha, who on the eve encountered problems in the family. Due to the fact that parents did not devote time to their daughters, the girls lived their own lives, often they allowed themselves to climb onto the roof of one of the high-rise buildings. But once in their lives an incredibly beautiful boy appears under the name Maxim, who contributes to a crack in the relationship between girlfriends. In addition, some of them have problems at home with their parents. Further in the film you can see a lot of conflict situations, fights, etc., but the main thing is that after all the showdowns, an important event of the film takes place, which forces former girlfriends to gather again on the roof they previously loved. The thing is that Lena and Sveta, in desperation, decided to jump from the edge of the roof, holding hands tightly, but at the last moment they were stopped by Dasha, who argued with the following words: “The most precious thing that God gave us is life ".
The end of the film is not entirely clear and does not give an exact answer to the viewer on the questions that have arisen. All that Boris Grachevsky showed in the last episode of the film is a poster that depicts Lena and her mother, he hangs on the wall of the house, and then falls off and falls down. This symbol can be viewed from several sides. Perhaps Lena's mother will change her mind and change her relationship with her daughter, or perhaps she will never see her child again. Starring the full-length feature film "Roof" starred: Anfisa Chernykh (Lena), Sofia Ardova (Dasha), Maria Belova (Sveta).
After the premiere, the film was criticized by the audience, although in the end the director received several awards for the work done, one of them was Our New Children's Cinema, received at the 7th Moscow Premiere Festival.
