Option number 1. Mastic from marshmallows

This is probably the most popular recipe that most decorators use. And no wonder, because wedding cakes made from mastic prepared according to this recipe are the most delicious. To do this, you need 2 tablespoons of water, a cup of marshmallows and half a cup of powdered sugar. Place the marshmallows in a glass dish, add water and put in the microwave for 20 seconds. As soon as the sweets are inflated, they need to be stirred intensively. Then add the powdered sugar sifted through a sieve. You need to knead the mass until it becomes homogeneous, soft and pliable. For greater elasticity, you can add a little butter. When the mastic is ready, roll it into a ball, wrap it in cling film and leave it for about half an hour.

Option number 2. Gelatin mastic

You will need 50 grams of starch, 500 grams of powder, 6 grams of gelatin, a few drops of lemon juice and water. Soak gelatin and add lemon juice. While the mixture is swelling, mix the starch with the powder. Add gelatin and stir with a mixer. After that, wrap the mastic with foil and put in the refrigerator for half an hour. It must be borne in mind that this mastic dries very quickly, therefore, when working with it, it is important to cover the main part with a napkin or film. After complete drying, the products are very durable and solid, so wedding mastic cakes can be decorated with a wide variety of shapes and not be afraid for their safety.

Add glucose, powdered sugar. After, put the mixture on a surface covered with powder, and knead the mass until it becomes sticky. Wrap and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
