Any man is afraid of manifestations of various rashes and formations on the genitals. Each swelling causes thoughts of a sexually transmitted infection. If a pimple appears on the head, trunk of the penis or scrotum, it definitely brings fears and bad thoughts. But, fortunately, a simple pimple does not yet speak of a dangerous infection, unless other symptoms are added to it: burning during urination, discharge from the urethra and its inflammation, the onset of new formations and inflammations. Of course, these signs can talk about a sexually transmitted infection and a man needs the help of a doctor.
A simple pimple on the head can be completely safe and harmless. If it is a normal formation of white color without additional symptoms, this is due to fat deposition under the skin. In theory, the pimple itself is a clogged pore and can occur on any part of the body: leg, arm, back, stomach, face, genitals, etc. And they form most often in fatty pores. So simple formations, if they do not hurt and do not bother, do not increase in size and quantity, should not cause anxiety. As a rule, such a pimple on the head is threaded by itself within a month.
The reasons may be insufficient hygiene and hormonal changes in adolescence. But then it’s not acne, but acne. They are similar to the rash that appears on the face of young people during puberty. Acne is formed around the penis or on the bridle, usually they do not cause pain, the only thing that can cause some discomfort during intercourse. The way to get rid of it is quite simple - just follow the rules of hygiene and use a special antibacterial gel for intimate hygiene. Since acne and pimples on the head (penis) can occur due to improper nutrition, the rejection of fatty, smoked and salty foods will also help.
So, with normal and safe rashes sorted out, but there are those whose formation is cause for concern.
- Ulcers. If a simple formation increases and turns into an ulcer, then this is an occasion to consult a doctor. Ulcers are elevations, in the center of which a funnel is formed, filled with a translucent purulent fluid. This may be a manifestation of any infectious disease.
- Too large acne on the head of the penis. If they are more than a centimeter in diameter, they are inflamed and rise above the level of the skin, then this can also indicate the presence of a disease, medical attention is needed.
- Herpes. This is a contagious disease transmitted through sexual contact or during oral sex with a partner who has a rash of herpes on her lips. Initially, a small pimple is formed on the head or other parts of the penis, it resembles a translucent bubble filled with liquid. After some time, new formations begin to appear around it, it turns out a kind of island, which tend to grow if no treatment is applied.
- Papules. Slight swelling, raised above the surface of the skin. They can be both dangerous and safe. If they look like smooth and round rashes with a diameter of not more than five millimeters, then a viral disease is not excluded.
The formation of acne on the roots of the hair in the intimate area is quite normal, they will pass within a few weeks. Often they are invisible, but are found only as a seal.
If any rashes appear on the penis, extrusion or self-treatment is categorically undesirable. If they cause concern, then you should contact a venereologist or dermatologist.
