Yuri Askarov: biography of the artist
He was born in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 1977 in the small town of Kansk. Yuri’s father worked in the Leningrad Drama Theater. It is not surprising that little Jura had an interest in the scene since childhood, although he did not initially plan to become an artist. He saw himself in psychology, even received an appropriate education, but, while still a student, he successfully realized himself on the KVN stage. As a result, a real vocation led Yuri to GITIS. Here he gets acquainted with the then popular humorous show R. Dubovitskaya. His talent did not go unnoticed, and soon Yuri Askarov already acted in the "Full House".
The framework of the project very soon turned out to be cramped for the young artist, he wanted to realize himself in other genres and directions. The Taganka Theater was the next step in his creative career. Mikhail Kokshenov appreciated the comic talent of Yuri Askarov, inviting him to shoot in his films. Thus came to light “Nephew or Russian Business 2”, “Anniversary of the Prosecutor” and “Love-service”.
