  • two bay leaves;
  • celery or parsley root;
  • four peas of black pepper;
  • sour cream for serving;
  • salt.

  1. Rub meat, scrape, put in a pan with a thick bottom, pour water, add one onion, celery root, one carrot.
  2. When the water boils, reduce the gas and cook for 2-2.5 hours. Remove foam periodically. Half an hour before the end of cooking the broth, put pepper and bay leaf, but do not salt.
  3. Peel and chop onion and carrots in oil. Then send sauerkraut to the pan. If it is acidic, rinse first. Stew the vegetables until they are soft - about 25 minutes.
