Humor is a cultural phenomenon. The ability to make people laugh is a difficult profession, not everyone will make fun of themselves. Women among humorists can be counted on the fingers: Maria Mironova, Klara Novikova, Elena Vorobei, Natalya Korosteleva. The last one in this series is special: she is the only woman in Russia who still has the status of a satirical writer.
Where do the legs grow from
The future talented comedian Natalya Korosteleva was born in 1973 in Alma-Ata. Her mother worked as the director of the Republican Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. Creative development of the child began with diapers. In a humorous autobiography, Natalia admitted that dramatic talent had opened in her kindergarten and had selfish motives: she was fed with sweets for a good performance.
Natalia Korosteleva, whose biography was filled with piano sounds, theater lessons, ballet pas, bathed in creative inspiration. Five ancient Greek muses tried to get her favor: Kalliope taught to sing, Terpsichore to dance, Euterpe to play music, Melpomene and Talia to cry and laugh on the stage. There was no question where to go to study, right after school she became a student at the Institute of Culture in St. Petersburg, the faculty of dramatic art, the pop department, and the class of Boris Wojciechowski.
During training, Leningrad became St. Petersburg, the alma mater was renamed the Academy of Culture, which Korosteleeva graduated in 1995. The first job after graduation was the soloist of the St. Petersburg Music Hall. The girl loved to sing and did it well, but the meaning of life did not represent vocals. Six months later, she will dramatically change her fate.
Formation period
At 22, Natalya Sergeevna Korosteleva arrives in Moscow, settles down in the hostel of the Gnesinsky Music Institute. Workshop of young authors Evgeny Petrosyan - her first attempts at writing. She recalls with a smile how the first texts for pop singers were born under tambourines and trombones. The girl earned at that time not by writing, but by singing in restaurants.
In the studio, fate brought her with Mikhail Zadornov. Natalia wrote the first text with him; it was a letter from a nursing home to President Yeltsin. The number was performed by Evgeny Vaganovich, the audience accepted it with a bang, the success was stunning and instant. But all the laurels went to the artist, the name of Natalia Korosteleva was noticed only by humorous colleagues.

How did pop jokers accept and appreciate her talent? After Petrosyan, Svyatoslav Yeshchenko became famous on the opuses of Korosteleva (“Karas”, “New Russians”). Her lyrics sound from the stage performed by Sergey Drobotenko, Igor Mamenko, Elena Stepanenko, Klara Novikova. Since 1997, she writes numbers in the plays of Petrosyan. In 1998, cooperation begins with television, Korosteleva - screenwriter of "Full House", "Crooked Mirror".

In 2009, having become a well-known author, having received many awards for writing, Natalya Korosteleva recalls that she is a pop artist (according to the diploma of the Academy). One of her first works on stage was the bride after the wedding. Amazing acting reading, elegantly worked out appearance, facial expressions - the audience atoned for the rising star in applause, much later they learned that the pretty funny fat bride, the only Russian satirist, and performed her own work.
Since that time, managing to write for others, the artist becomes a participant in the television projects “This is ridiculous”, “Crooked Mirror”, “Izmailovsky Park” and others. An explosion of laughter causes her Verka from a rural outback, reading a glamorous magazine or trying to figure out a computer. She jokes subtly and ironically at the luminaries of the genetics of the Academy of Sciences, who relaxed at the corporate party. Her heroines try to do fitness and study the Kama Sutra, spit on the Balzac age and choose her husband with the help of a striped traffic cop stick.

At the same time, Natalia did not go about the modern kitsch practiced by the Comedy Club, she has her own taboos in humor. She does not take vulgarity, obscene language onto the stage, considering it an art to use language rather than a mat in slippery moments of Aesop. Do not make a fool out of the viewer or consider him as such - this is the main rule of the artist. She is sure that talent is not a gift, but a mission and service to those who listen to you.
Family Creative Union
Since 2003, Natalia Korosteleva has been in close relations with Yuri Khvostov. Together they work on miniatures, participate in humorous shows, give concerts and hold corporate parties. Natalia and Yuri are the parents of charming Savely. The family experienced a very difficult situation: at four years old, the boy was diagnosed with acute leukemia. Emergency medical care was expensive, but the creative family had many friends, fans and admirers, they helped save the baby's life.
