The complete door-latch kit is:
- Two handles: the inside should be push, the outside should be fixed.
- Mechanical lock on crossbars with a key.
The door will be unlocked from the outside only if the electromagnetic latch receives a control signal, or when opening the mechanical lock with a key. With mechanical locking to the crossbar, the remote operation function is disabled.
Latch installation
The standard scheme involves working with a door frame into which an electromechanical latch crashes, the installation will require the following operations:
- Remove the old strike plate located on the door frame.
- Measure under the latch:
- places from the outside of the door to the end of the tongue of the lock;
- the tongue itself, including the depth of entry into the canvas frame.
- Mark up. Attach a reciprocal level and mark the places for fasteners and tongue.
- If there is a wooden box, then with the help of a grinder cut holes of the required size. A hollow door will require additional fasteners, with which the latch is fixed to the body, holes are drilled.
- Install a non-push handle on the outside of the door.

Electromechanical door latches provide benefits:

There are a number of disadvantages:
- Not in all cases installation is possible.
- Electric locks have a greater locking force.
