Stopped smoking: consequences

Tobacco is not at all what a person needs for a normal life. Cigarettes harm our health, do not allow us to develop normally, do not allow us to enjoy life. Scientists have long proved that even one cigarette per day can cause great harm to the body.

A smoking person always has a bad complexion, yellow teeth and fingers, from any physical exertion, shortness of breath begins. A smoker feels uncomfortable in places where smoking is prohibited. He becomes nervous, irritable, he has problems that are associated with communication with people.

Why, then, do many continue to smoke, despite the fact that almost everyone knows about the dangers of tobacco (thanks to the Ministry of Health!)? Many are too weak, and some are simply afraid of what happens to the person after he quit smoking. The consequences, of course, are inevitable, but they are not always negative. I tend to the fact that many people who want to quit smoking are fixed only on negative consequences, and think less about positive ones. What is it for? Moreover, one who thinks only of the bad will never succeed. The consequences are not only what brings us new problems.

Stopped smoking: negative consequences

Yes, no one will argue with the fact that it is really hard to quit smoking and that a person will feel quite bad after giving up tobacco. What is going to happen to those who quit smoking? The consequences here may be different. One way or another, they are all connected with the fact that the body cannot understand why it was suddenly limited to the substance (nicotine) that it is so used to, and also that when a person refuses a cigarette, he refuses at the same time then parts of your life. In the second case, the problem is purely psychological, but it is very serious. Smoking is a certain ritual, which is very significant for many: the first cigarette in the morning, an afternoon cigarette, some people work at their work very diligently only because they want to quickly do everything and go on a smoke break. Do not forget that quitting smoking in one way or another changes the circle of friends.

A person loses a part of his life and from this becomes irritable. This irritability is further enhanced by the fact that the body requires a new dose of nicotine. Yes, all this is very, very unpleasant, but this must be fought. It is not a sin in this case to resort to special means that can help to eliminate not only irritability, but also other unpleasant consequences associated with refusing tobacco. Chewing gum, adhesives and much more - all this greatly facilitates the "breaking".

Many people think that you can’t quit smoking and lose weight (or at least not get fat). Why do they think so? Many people think that quitting smoking, the consequences of which we are considering here, cannot but harm the figure. These people are convinced that when people give up tobacco, their metabolism is disturbed and the person becomes fat before his eyes. It's all nonsense. In most cases, a person does not have a problem with the metabolism, and people get fat when they refuse cigarettes only for the reason that they are trying to replace the "smoke" with food. Those who quit smoking should be very, very careful about food. Here you can advise yourself to find some hobby that will help you get distracted and forget.

The consequences include insomnia, which can be a very big problem. You can escape from it by taking vitamins and lungs sedatives, as well as sleeping pills.

Stopped smoking: positive consequences

The person who quit smoking very soon gets a normal color, and his eyes begin to shine. Bad breath and clothing, as well as hair, disappear. Shortly thereafter, shortness of breath disappears, and physical activity ceases to take up a lot of energy. Over time, a person becomes less irritable and more balanced, his nervous system returns to normal. Very soon, the likelihood of a heart attack, as well as the appearance of any cancer, will decrease several times.

I think that the positive consequences in this case far outweigh the negative consequences. So think about whether to continue smoking.
