Pyatigorsk has firmly entered the history of KVN as a city releasing excellent teams for the major league. Fans of this game did not forget the sparkling and incendiary humor of the guys in plaid shirts and blue pants, performing under the name "Pyatigorsk National Team" in 2000-2006. It was this KVN team - Pyatigorsk - that presented the show business with stars such as Elena Borshcheva and Semyon Slepakov. The team became the Premier League champion in 2004, and then won several cups and awards.
"Gorod Pyatigorsk"
Not even five years have passed since Semyon Slepakov and his team left the big stage of KVN, when a new team from the same city with the same name - “Pyatigorsk City” appears in the Premier League. When the guys appeared on Channel One for the first time, many expected to see members of the former collective there. But the new KVN team “Pyatigorsk City” changed its composition completely. It was no longer any of those who played before. The similarity is limited only by the city of the foundation of the collective and the name. They have nothing more in common. The team “Pyatigorsk City” is a completely unique gang that almost instantly won the love of spectators and viewers. Rarely, what team of kaveanschiks from the first call manage to reach the finals. The KVN team “Pyatigorsk City” is just one of those. In 2011, the guys make it to the finals and win an honorable third place there. A year later, they share second place with a team from the St. Petersburg Faculty of Journalism. And in 2014, the team from the Caucasus finally received their well-deserved gold medals.
Team leader
The undisputed leader and ideological inspirer of the team is the captain, Olga Kartunkova. On stage, she is a real tyrant. Everyone else is afraid of her. Any attempts to organize a rebellion against the boy-woman of Olya fail in tartarara. The main rebels in the team are Katya and Murat, for which they get the most from the captain. Olya has a girlfriend and comrade-in-arms Tatyana, who is usually silent, but in every possible way supports her fighting girlfriend. However, all the confrontations played out in front of the audience look very funny, cute and bright. In life, Olga Kartunkova is not at all the same as on the stage. To achieve the natural fulfillment of the role of the villain Olga, great acting abilities help.
The composition of the KVN team (Pyatigorsk)
It's time to name our heroes by name. In total, the KVN Pyatigorsk team consists of 13 actors. Of these, three girls, including the captain, and 10 young people. The company picked up the most colorful. Team members differ from each other in age, physique, growth and emphasize these differences with clothing. A successful KVN team “Pyatigorsk City” did not immediately form a squad. This is a hodgepodge of three Pyatigorsk faculty teams. None of them managed to reach significant heights, but, having united the composition, the KVN Pyatigorsk teams, which became one, won all the Kaveen gold.

Team Achievements
In 2009, a team called Noah's Ark won the KVN League in Krasnodar. The following year, the guys won the First Moscow League. The composition of the KVN Pyatigorsk team was already a little different. The name has also changed.
In 2011, the KVN Pyatigorsk team debuted in the Premier League and immediately reached the final.
A year later, in the final of KVN, the guys get an honorable second place.
In 2013, the city of Pyatigorsk became the winner of the Voting KiViN festival and received the main KiViN in Gold award. Here, Olga Kartunkova is celebrated with a special presidential award “Amber KiViN”.
A year later, Pyatigorsk triumphantly wins the final of the KVN, having achieved by this moment everything that can be obtained and won in the game.
Life after KVN
In 2014, after a triumphant victory, the team “Pyatigorsk City” refused to continue participating in KVN games. Now the winners are successfully touring the cities of Russia and even abroad. Olga Kartunkova and several other people from this team are involved in projects on the leading channels of the country, and some participants remained in KVN as editors of regional and first leagues.
