Mood swings and how to deal with them

We feel good - we laugh, we feel sad - we cry or just feel sadness. Moods change often, but, as a rule, their change always occurs for some reason. Sudden mood swings do not entail anything good.

Just imagine: a man laughs and enjoys life, but in an instant everything changes, and he no longer wants to see anyone. This prevents him from interacting normally with other people. The mood swings also prevent him from engaging in any particular business, or building his life.

There is nothing wrong with the fact that the mood has changed over the course of one day many times in itself - it is quite possible that you just got tired or did not get enough sleep. Worse, when a person cannot control his emotions always. Mood swings can cause many troubles. You should not justify yourself and other people who do not know how to control emotions with a complex character.

What are mood swings and what are they associated with

What is mood? In fact, this is nothing more than a set of stable emotions that do not leave a person for a long (relatively long) period of time. Menโ€™s mood swings are much less common than women. Does this mean that women are more emotional? Yes it does.

Women suffer more stress, their joy can be replaced by longing and even despair in a second. Changes in mood in women are unpredictable. Often they lead to depression. It is worth noting that the most changing mood in women during menopause. They are not to blame for this, but nature.

The mood swings most concern residents of large cities. The fact is that in large centers people always experience great mental pressure and great discomfort. Many say theyโ€™re used to it and donโ€™t feel anything like it. It is not true. Vanity anyway affects their mental state in one way or another.

Neurotransmitters are the very substances that are responsible for the stability of our mood. Their imbalance can lead to the fact that our emotions will constantly change.

Often mood swings occur due to hormonal failure. It can be observed in adolescents. Cute children, growing up, become nervous and "jerked". The fact is that in the body of a teenager there are many different kinds of reactions that turn everything (including the consciousness of adolescents) upside down. Controlling emotions in a given period is very difficult. Hormonal failure, of course, occurs in the body of pregnant women. I think itโ€™s not worth describing how capricious future mothers are - everybody knows this very well.

Mental stress that occurs at work or at home can also cause mood swings. Often lead to them and constant failures that occur when trying to accomplish something important, meaningful.

What can help bring yourself to a normal state

You can, of course, use drugs. But do not forget that self-control is very important here. To begin with, relax and drive bad thoughts away. Move away from reality, imagine that you are somewhere very, very far away. We recommend yoga classes - the exercises that you find in it will actually help you learn how to control your mood.

Use a mild sedative. For example, tincture of motherwort. Do not get carried away, because the habit will sooner or later arise.

In the fight against mood swings, it is recommended that you try to change your occupation. It will be especially useful to do physical work for those who are used to working only with their heads.

Seek help from a psychologist. It is possible that the source of the problem is in your subconscious.
