The famous French choreographer, cavalier of the French Order of Literature and Arts, Jean-Christophe Mayo composed the part of Petruccio especially for Lantratov when he staged the ballet The Taming of the Shrew at the Bolshoi Theater.
Biography
The famous dancer was born in Moscow on October 8, 1988. For the first time, the dancer got on stage at the age of five; he took part in a dramatic production called “School for Immigrants”. Such famous personalities as Abdulov, Zbruev and Karachentsev took part in it. And although Lantratov himself got a small episodic role, but even this made it possible for the future premier of the Bolshoi Theater to feel love for the stage.
Lantratov no longer had to participate in dramatic productions. However, after many years, in one of his interviews, he said that if he had not become a dancer, he would certainly have tried himself in drama. As a child, he also first appeared on the ballet stage, running among other children in the ballet Don Quixote.
A family
Lantratov Vladislav Valerievich comes from the ballet family. Mom, dad and brother were dancers, so the boy had no special alternatives. Initially, ballet was the choice of famous parents, although Vladislav himself was satisfied with this idea.
Father - People's Artist of the Russian Federation Valery Lantratov, at one time was the prime minister of ballet and performed at the Moscow Academic Musical Theater, and afterwards became a soloist of the Kremlin Ballet. Mother - Leshchinsky Inna, was a soloist of the same Moscow Theater, and later worked at the Lenkom Theater in Moscow as a choreographer. It was behind the scenes that little Vladislav spent his childhood.
By the age of eight, the boy was hired by a tutor-tutor, who prepared him for admission to the choreographic school.
Study
Lantratov became a student at the Moscow Academy of Choreography when he was nine years old. Although Vladislav's parents were the initiators in this matter, in the future they did not try to control their son, on the contrary, they gave him freedom, which greatly influenced the future artist, making him an independent person. The year of study changed the boy beyond recognition, the mischievous person quickly became a serious pupil who clearly understood the essence of his work.
Vladislav became one of the last students to study with Ninel Popova. Later, he was taught by Leonid Zhdanov, Igor Uksusnikov and Ilya Kuznetsov. “Vladislav Lantratov is a dancer without data”, that is exactly what the academy originally said. Therefore, at an early age, he clarified one important truth: to survive in the world of art and achieve real heights, you need to try and work tirelessly. Already in 2005, Lantratov was the performer of the main part during the final concert in the ballet “Classical Symphony”.
Career
After graduating from the academy, Lantratov Vladislav participated in the corps de ballet of the Bolshoi Theater, but this did not last long. Already during the second theater season, the dancer performed solo parts. While working at the theater, Lantratov was given a lot of rehearsals with Lavrov. It was his assistance that helped the young man to show masculinity in his dance. After that, the dancer managed to work with V. Lagunov, later the artist said that he became more than just a teacher for him. Subsequently, Lantratov worked on such performances as The Legend of Love, Spartak, and Ivan the Terrible with Alexander Vetrov. The soloist of the Bolshoi Theater connects these parties with one of the periods of his creative take-off.
The dancer named the role of Onegin in the production of John Cranco of the same name as a great gift of fate. The spark of emancipation and love in it was considered by Jean-Cristov Mayo, giving him a party in The Taming of the Shrew.
The artist has more than once been awarded various prizes. In 2010, he was awarded the Grand Triumph Prize. 2012 was marked by the prize “Soul of Dance”, which was awarded by the magazine “Ballet”. Lantratov Vladislav, whose personal success story cannot but inspire, was twice named the dancer of the year. In 2014, the Italian edition of Danza & Danza awarded him this title, and in 2015, the German edition of Tanz.

The leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater was familiar with the People's Artist of Russia Maria Alexandrova a long time ago. However, last year, when Petruccio tamed the rebellious Katarina on the stage, the artists became close in life. Maria had a lot of emotional experiences behind her, so Vladislav’s feelings became a reward for her.
