For 3 servings you will need the following products:

  • Udon noodles β€” 300 g

  • Beijing cabbage - 60 g.
  • Bell pepper - 150 g.
  • Zucchini - 150 g.
  • Onions - 100 g.
  • Carrots - 1 root crop.
  • Potato starch - 6 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil - 100 g.
  • Garlic - 1 clove.
  • Soy Sauce - 100 ml.

Cooking steps:

  1. Chop cabbage, zucchini, onions, peppers and carrots with a thin and long straw.
  2. Cut the mushrooms into large cubes.
  3. Chicken fillet cut into small strips, breaded in starch and quickly fry in a saucepan with vegetable oil over high heat.
  4. After the filet is browned, add prepared vegetables to it, with the exception of cabbage. Fry them with chicken, do not reduce the fire and make sure that they do not burn. Bring vegetables to half cooked.
  5. Lastly, add cabbage and pre-cooked udon noodles. Mix the cooked dish well and remove the stewpan from the stove. Add soy sauce, mix again.

Yaki udon tori (udon noodles with chicken and vegetables) turned out well. It remains to put the cooked noodles in plates and serve the dish on the table. The Japanese eat udon with chopsticks, but you can use a fork.

If you don’t have mushrooms at hand, they can be replaced by oyster mushrooms or dried shiitake mushrooms. We advise you to decorate the dish with cilantro or sesame seeds.

  • Wheat noodles udon - 350 g

  • Canned corn - 70 g.
  • Teriyaki sauce - 200 ml.
  • Soy sauce - 70 ml.
  • Sesame seeds - 15 g.

How to cook:

  1. Chicken fillet cut into medium sized pieces. Fry the fillets in a pan with vegetable oil, do not salt, the fire should be strong. After the golden crust is formed, add teriyaki sauce and continue to fry the fillet over low heat.
  2. Chop the carrots and peppers finely, then add to the chicken and pour teriyaki sauce. Continue to fry.
  3. Boil the udon noodles first.
  4. Transfer udon noodles into a pan with chicken and vegetables, add corn, chopped onions. Add teriyaki sauce if necessary. Mix the prepared dish thoroughly.
