An interesting dish with an equally interesting name. Hummus recipe suggests the presence of a number of ingredients, among which the main place is occupied by beans. It is great for snacks, and due to the fact that it belongs to the category of lean food, it can be cooked in fasting. Among the most unusual ingredients you will need 1.5 cups of chickpeas, cayenne pepper and sesame paste. The remaining components are in the house of any housewife - garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt and olive oil.

The chickpeas need to be well washed, dried and cleaned before cooking hummus. The recipe further involves laying out the chickpeas in a bowl. It is poured with cold water and brought to a boil and held for 15 minutes, after which it is removed and drained. Peel the chickpeas, add water again and pour half a teaspoon of salt. Then continue to cook until soft, that is, 1.5 -2 hours. It’s okay if you can’t calculate the required amount of water, you can add it during the cooking process.

While chickpeas are being cooked, a hummus recipe requires preparation of the fill. For her, garlic (2-3 cloves) is carried out through a press or rubbed on a fine grater, then transferred to a combine, where sesame paste (almost a full glass) and half a glass of freshly squeezed lemon juice are also added. All this is mixed until a white homogeneous mass is obtained. It is not necessary to use a harvester; it can be replaced with a blender. Half a glass of water is added to the resulting mixture and mixed again.

When the chickpeas are cooked, continue to cook hummus. The recipe requires the separation of water and chickpea, while maintaining both components. Chickpeas are added to the dishes with the garlic mixture and mixed again. The consistency is made to taste, you can dilute it with the help of the water remaining from under the cooked chickpeas. The resulting mixture is salted and added with lemon juice. The dish is served with finely chopped herbs and olive oil

Pita
Another traditional dish found in cuisines of different countries of the world. On the shelves of stores there is a thin and thick pita bread. The recipe for cooking the latter is very simple, although in reality it is not lavash, but a traditional Uzbek cake. All products are usually found in any home: salt and sugar, yeast, flour and butter.

Prepare the usual fresh dough: mix the salt with sugar and a teaspoon of yeast. The mixture is poured into a glass of warm water and mixed again. Adding flour, bring the dough to a density and leave to rise for 1.5-2 hours.

The resulting dough is laid out on the bottom of the pan, after covering it with food foil. Next, they form a cake with their hands, not forgetting to make a few holes on its surface. From above, the cake is greased with oil, sprinkled with sesame seeds and left to stand for another half hour, after which it is sent to the oven heated to 190 C, covering the pan with a lid. A brownish crust is a sign that lavash is a thick recipe.
