Poker Combinations: The First Things to Know About This Game

Poker is a special type of card game, the purpose of which is, of course, to win - to win a bet by collecting the so-called poker combination, the highest in comparison with the combinations of other players, or due to the fact that all rivals will no longer participate in the game. The rules of poker do not remain unchanged - depending on the type of game, they may become different (for example, the “strength” of combinations changes). But nevertheless, there is something in common in all types of poker - the presence of combinations as such and trade, which takes place throughout the game. In addition, poker (like many other games called "salon") is considered a game with incomplete information, since players are not able to plan the current game based on past ones.

One of the rarest variations of a game called poker is Razz. In principle, the rules are Razz poker - the player with the weakest hand combination on hand wins. Large combinations such as “Flash” or “Street” are not taken into account, and “Pairs” halves the probability of winning. The game begins with the fact that all players receive three cards - one open and two "dark". Trading ends after the cards are opened, after which the players receive four more (one - open, the rest - closed). After the trade, the winner is announced - the one who has the best poker hands on hand - weak hands. It should be noted that the aces in this type of poker are low cards, so you can build a game on them in the same way as in the classic version of poker.

The most powerful combination when playing poker is Royal Flush, which is a combination of five cards (“hand”) in descending order from Ace (A, K, Q, J, 10), necessarily of the same suit. This “hand” is the strongest; no other combination can be stronger. The second most important is a straight flush, or five cards of the same suit in order. In addition, the player can collect such combinations as “Four of a Kind” (four cards of the same value of all stripes), “Full House” (a full house, or a combination of three cards of the same value with two of the other) and “Flash” (a combination of five different values cards of the same suit). The last combination can simultaneously occur among several players, in which case the winner is the one who has a general combination of cards older.

Combinations in poker by seniority are completed by such sets of cards as “Street” (five cards of any suit in order), “Three” (three cards of the same value), in which the other two cards do not matter, “Two Pairs” (a pair of cards of one values - rank, and another pair of cards of a different value), as well as “Pair”. In some varieties of poker, there is also such a combination as "High Card". It is possible to assemble any of the combinations during the game, but the stronger the “hand”, the less likely it is to assemble.

2-10 people can take part in a poker game. There are different decks for playing poker, containing from 32 to 54 cards, but usually a standard (52-sheet) deck is used for the game, in which equivalent suits are indicated. The values of all cards are located in a descending line - from ace to lower (king, queen, jack, and so on), and it is from these cards that poker combinations are formed. Summarizing, it should be noted that the next batch is won by the participant who did not discard the cards and remained in the game, and also retained the strongest poker hand. The winner receives all bets made by all players. Rates during one game may increase, since everyone who remains at the table does not “pass” must confirm their intention to continue with bets. You can make bets equal to or made by other players, it doesn’t matter, since often raising the bet is used during bluffing, players have poker combinations that are not the strongest, but there is an opportunity to deceive others.
