It must be applied while the silicone is still not completely dry, otherwise it will not absorb it.

Cracks are, of course, not the only problem that may arise. To repair the Ford dashboard or the same VAZ, it may need pinout. This is necessary if the malfunction concerns the electronics in the panel itself. Naturally, the pinout is needed specifically for the brand of car that will be repaired.
What is a pinout? This is a table that shows which part of the electronics a particular indicator is responsible for. If there is no such table, then the repair of the instrument panel will be significantly complicated by the fact that you have to manually look for which wire leads to. It is also worth saying that there is a slight difference between the old VAZ and the new one. The thing is that the indicators themselves are identical, but the pinout is somewhat different, so you can not use such a model for the new model.
Dashboard repair
Not only a separate indicator, but also the whole part, for example, a speedometer, can fail. However, this happens quite rarely, but it does happen. Before proceeding with the repair or replacement of individual parts, it is necessary to carry out diagnostics using the on-board computer in order to know exactly what and where failed.
