Wasps are a familiar species of insects. Especially often they can be found in the warm season, circling around sweets, fruits or jam. But to draw these annoying creatures is not at all difficult, and in this article we will consider how to do this.
Materials
To draw a wasp, you don’t need any special tools. All you need is a piece of paper, a pencil or a pen. You can also take colored crayons, felt-tip pens or paints to colorize the finished drawing.
How to draw a wasp with a pencil
First draw a rounded rectangle for the front (chest) of the body.
Then draw a head, eyes and antennae. The head has a rounded square shape. Draw eyes with long ovals on the sides of the head. The antennae are similar to thin loops drawn at an angle outward from the top of the head.
Now draw the lower body. It is oval in shape and twice as long as the body.
Do not forget that the wasp is decorated with contrasting stripes. Be sure to draw lines across the body.
Add wings on both sides of the upper body. They have a triangular shape.
Start adding legs. The front left leg is in front of the wings. It has four very thin segments and is at the same angle as the left antennae.
Add another front foot on the right side of the head. She also has four long thin segments. The angle at which it is located coincides with the angle of the right antennae.
Draw another left foot under the left wing. It also has four segments and is the same size as the front legs. Forget about symmetry - draw a limb on the right.
Add the last lower legs to the left and right under the middle paws. After that, you can colorize your drawing using yellow and black colors.
Second way
To draw a wasp with another method, start by drawing its head. In shape, it resembles an inverted drop.
Next, depict the central and rear parts of the body with two ovals of different sizes.
Add wasp legs using three curved lines. The front foot should be bent to the left more, and the remaining two to the right.
Draw another line for the wasp's legs to give them some volume. Then draw the antennae and oval eye of the insect. Add a triangular sting to the back.
With two figures resembling elongated open ovals, depict wings that are located above the central part of the body of the wasp. Strip the back of your torso by adding six more lines.
