The powerful of this world are invited to the restaurant "Imperial Hunt"

The first restaurants in Russia appeared at the beginning of the XIX century. They mainly served French delicacies and drinks. The text of the menu itself and signs over the years have also been written in French. After some time, they began to translate the names of dishes and institutions. Today, the Federation is simply full of restaurants offering a unique interior, traditional dishes for a particular country, fun and relaxation. Well, the center of the restaurant business is, of course, Moscow. It was in this city that restaurateur Arkady Novikov opened the Tsarskaya Ohota restaurant in 1996. The institution is truly royal and deserves the name by which it was called.

Restaurant with a Russian soul

“Tsarist Hunt” is recognized as the best restaurant institution not only by domestic visitors, but also by foreign guests. It is one of those institutions that offer only the best of Russian traditional cuisine. Restaurant “Tsarskaya Okhota” on Rublevka is a suburban place located on Rublevo-Uspensky highway. All residents of the capital know about his signature pies. To try this delicacy, they come to Zhukovka from the most remote areas of the city. Once, at the very end of the 90s of the last century, one meeting took place in the “Hunt”, about which legends tell today. Rendezvous participants were Jacques Chirac and Boris Yeltsin. Therefore, it is not surprising that the incident caused such a stir.

Restaurant chef Dmitry Kanevsky and the owner of the Tsarist Hunt, Mr. Novikov, have many reasons to be proud of their offspring. For the first, the inspiration is the menu of the institution, which really reflects the classic gastronomic life of the Russian people. Novikov’s pride is guests who have powerful power and connections.

"Royal Hunt" from the inside

The Tsarskiy restaurant was the first drinking establishment in the post-Soviet countries, where real home-made traditional cuisine and restaurant service of European countries merged in unison. “Okhota” was able to return Russian cuisine to the restaurant. Thus, the institution proved that she is alive and can exist as a separate concept.

The Tsar’s Hunt restaurant is a cozy hut where there is a real Russian stove, which is decorated with images of persons belonging to the royal dynasties. Also in this place there are many original kitchen utensils. These are native Russian objects, such as grips, pots, rakes and similar things, known to us from the good tales that my grandmother read.

The main highlight and a peculiar restaurant know-how is considered a cart with a variety of snacks. At one time, it was invented as a way to get rid of queues.

Dmitry Kanevsky

This is a person without whom the Tsarist Hunt restaurant cannot exist. It is the chef who sets the pace and rhythm of the institution that he serves. And maestro Kanevsky has been working here since 1998. He was born in the capital of Russia and from childhood he understood that he would become a chef. In his school years, Dmitry regularly visited a circle of cooks, therefore, having received a secondary education, he already knew exactly what his higher education would be. So, in 1975, the guy became a student at the Moscow College of Catering. Here he chose the specialty "technologist-technologist". And the first place of the future ace to work on delicious dishes was the restaurant at the University Hotel. As a chef, he opened a restaurant with a beautiful female name “Karina”. He worked as a man and abroad, in Spain. Well, at the end of the last century, Dmitry Kanevsky headed the kitchen of the Tsarist Hunt. A guest is an extremely important person for him. Dmitry believes that only a restaurant visitor can tell the whole truth about the dish, and you can only trust him in this matter.
