1) The ironing process should be very gentle. You cannot steam or use a hot iron. This technique can only be used as a special processing procedure, where it is deliberately necessary to achieve folding, coarsening of the material.
2) The skin has 2 sides, one of which is smooth and water-repellent, the other - nubuck - rough. If the front side of your leather jewelry is designed from nubuck, then you need to be very careful. Drops of glue, solutions, minor mechanical damage can remain forever.
3) When working with the needle, stitching shreds, be prepared for the fact that the needle mark is almost impossible to smooth out, how can this be done on the fabric. After all, neither washing nor stroking the skin is undesirable.
4) Contact with water can be harmful. In order to prolong the life of the product, in which the soul, time, strength and patience are invested, you need to take into account the type of raw materials used and the features of caring for it. Suppose there are special gentle solutions with which you can wipe the product or wash it gently using laundry soap.
5) Need skill and experience, because in this matter accuracy of actions is important. Alterations will be visible on the skin: it will not work to rip and stitch again, wet and steam with an iron, as all this is done with a cloth.
The color scheme of genuine leather is not as diverse as fabrics and ribbons. In order to choose the right color on your own, and not be content with what is, you must additionally master the painting technique.
