FOK was built in 2010. Thanks to the program of the Government of Moscow for the construction of sports facilities, the district received a modern center with gyms and a swimming pool. Residents of the area received the long-awaited health complex for sports.
FOK with the Emerald Pool
The water surface of the pool is 14 x 25 m, separated by 5 lanes for swimming. The depth of the pool is from 1.4 to 1.9 meters. The average water temperature is kept at 28 degrees, which allows for recreational swimming for children in comfortable conditions. Can take from 40 adults or 52 children at a time. The pool is equipped with modern equipment, starting with a water treatment system. Here the most harmless to humans method is used - ozonation. Convenient stairs to enter and exit the pool.
For people with disabilities, special drawers for clothes in locker rooms, special showers and a toilet are installed, ramps for comfortable movement and a hydraulic lifting device for launching into the water are installed.
Gym
The sports complex on the second floor has a roomy gym for physical education and sports. For the day, FEC "Emerald" takes about 710 people.
To attract residents of the Yuzhnoye Butovo district, an optimal work schedule has been set up, which starts from 7 a.m. and lasts until 23 p.m. to maximize the willingness to engage in sports groups. For adults and children sections work in various directions:
- Aqua aerobics - training is carried out on a shallow part of the pool and includes the performance of aerobic and strength exercises of varying degrees of complexity under musical accompaniment.

- Hatha Yoga is an Indian system that allows you to bring harmony to the opposite principles inherent in a person.
- Flexible strength is a fitness direction made up of exercises taken from Pilates, partly yoga and functional training, while developing joint mobility and muscle strength.
- Aerobics - gymnastics, training consists of aerobic exercises, which are performed to the music.
The sports complex is a favorite vacation spot for residents of South Butovo.
